Year 2022, an era for a new generation on earth with a progressing technology. The name Dex was student that pursue engineering course that take him almost 7 years in college. A sudden outcome is a failure for himself and this came a burden that will lead him to a state of worry, pressure and stress for getting a good job in a company. He has a happy middle-class Light family with his dad working as a farmer while his mom is the one that manage at home and he have four sisters which are working with their respective profession.
At rainy night, her mom is preparing for a dinner while his father is watching tv news.
"Dex come here we got our dinner now and go called your dad also" her mom called him
"Okay mom" he goes to the living room to called his dad while the news is airing.
"News Flash, there is a sudden thunderstorm all over the area of North Zon that might pour a heavy rainfall that will cause flooding and thunder lightning in different city, so we advise our residence to make proper measure and protocol for the safety"
"Ho ho another storm is coming" "what a headache" while his dad is attentive to the news with squinted eyes
"Dad we're having a dinner now" Dex called his dad
"Okay Dex I got you, see this news another storm is coming so we need to prepare for our goods and kit" replying to Dex patting his head.
While the news report is ongoing Dex also watch attentively with his dad at the sofa
"Yes dad, after we are done with our dinner I'll go prepare for it and ohh dad also I'll go buy the med kit at the department store nearby we don't have that now" Dex reply reassuringly
His mom at the kitchen area squinted her eyes and annoyed " Mat, Dex I'll told you that we are having a dinner come here now" his voice is all over the house.
The duo are attentive to the news, then when the dragon called both of them they are petrified and see each other
"Ohh shit your mom is annoyed come here we gotta go unless you want some spanking in your butt to be left behind here" with a fear all over of his dad face
The duo got over to the dining area with a fast speed reflex with their face full of sweat.
"Come here, you both if I didn't call you with that yelling you will not come here and two of you are idling hah on the living room" Eula her mom said while staring at both of them annoyed.
While having their dinner, "Mom what time does my sisters will come home?" Dex said while eating his favorite steak.
"Here they are, nice timing for your sisters" his mom surprise for a sudden arrival of Dex big sisters.
While her sisters came home, they put first their bags on the sofa while resting. The are just exhausted from their work.
"Mom what's the dinner for today?" Jes said while resting with her legs on the counter table.
"Oh, it's the favorite dish of your younger brother called steak" while his mom preparing for the plates for his big sisters.
The other big sister Lou is scrolling his smartphone at the sofa "Oh mom, dad there is a thunderstorm coming this late 7pm until tomorrow. Does the med-kit and goods are prepared?".
His dad reply "Yes dear, I put that task to your younger brother you don't have to worry about that just rest first".
"Okay dad I need to wash first before going to the dinner" Lou replied while preparing to wash.
Dex other two sisters Je and Win are also resting in the sofa while scrolling with their phone and laptop for the work ethic. They are just too hardworking and here I am just a shit pack that living only to eat while doing nothing, but they are considerate to me that they fell I can do it and just trust the process. That's why I love having with the four of them as my big sisters.
While they are all having a dinner laughing and talking, Dex is the first one whose finish eating. "Mom, dad I gotta go buy some med-kit and other necessities for emergency at the department store nearby".
"Oh yeah Dex go buy then, and wait what time is it right now?" her mom said while checking her watch and slight worried expression.
"It's 6:29 pm now mom, little brother are you sure you want to go to the department store this time while the thunderstorm in past 7pm?" her sister Je saying while eating.
"Yes, big sister I will go and came back before past 7pm, the department store is just near actually" Dex said while wearing his hoddie and preparing the umbrella.
Mom has a worried expression and said "Okay dear Dex, just you need to be careful with you safety, okay?"
"Okay mom, I will" Dex replied while smiling and he came out of there house and go for a walk to the department store.
It so happens that it's so cold outside and there are a little passerby who are also walking while the rain pouring that it's like a vibe of a romantic drama scene. Wahhh what a scene.
I need to be fast to go to the department store, maybe there are some buyers also who are buying goods it could be not good for me.
While Dex was walking to the department store, the news of having a thunderstorm approach it is vivid that it needed to prepare no less than to wait for the storm. So, Dex family is preparing for the worst scenario since there city is prone of flooding.
Okay, I was done here when I pay to the cashier, I need to go home since it is approaching 7 mins to past 7pm now.
While Dex was walking on the road, he stops at the stoplight since there house is at other side. He waits for the stop sign to turn green and at the last 5 seconds on the stop sign to turn green, he counted it by 5.4.3.2.1 in his mind a tragedy came by struck of a lightning and it's not the end there is a car approach with a fast speed that led Dex to crashed and stumble on the road.
"So this was the feeling of being hit by a lightning and getting past by a car-kun hahahaha, what a bad luck for these life of mine". "Mom dad I hope for the best for healthy lifestyle with my sisters and thank you we will meet again". Dex was staring at the sky with drop of tears that could be seen with his face and his life candle was approaching to an end. All the thing that he has done from being a child up to an adult has come to his mind with a beautiful memory, failure, and sadness. In his mind, he says; If I have a chance to be back again, I will fulfill the dreams that I wish for...…
Dex was rush to the hospital for treatment but it was too late.
