Chapter 1 - Chapter 2 : Talk with R.O.B?

In a world composed entirely of nothingness, a pitch-dark realm known as the Void, two people sit opposite each other in chairs, with a small table between them.

One is a middle-aged man with short black hair slicked back. His black eyes exude professionalism, and he has a strong posture, standing at least 190 cm tall, complemented by a goatee. He wears a black suit, embodying the classic image of a businessman.

In front of him sits a young man, who appears to be no older than 18. He stands at around 180 cm and has brown hair and brown eyes. Dressed in casual attire consisting of a white t-shirt and black pants, he presents a striking contrast to the businessman.

The young man looked at the older man with an excited smile. "Let me clarify this. You're offering to reincarnate me into the DXD anime, giving me a second chance at life along with powerful abilities that will elevate me to Satan-Class level. In return, you'll observe my journey and intervene only if I disrupt the story's flow. If it doesn't pique your interest, you'll simply move on to another soul. Is that correct?"

The older man nodded and responded, "Exactly. The powers I'm granting will ensure you reach Satan-Class, without question. If you agree, sign this document. If you have any further questions, I'll address them right now." He then produced a paper from a portal that opened above the table, effectively demonstrating his powers.

The young man looked at the paper before looking at the man. Who clicked with his fingers before a pencil appeared on the paper

"And I should mention this, the power you will get will instantly give you abilities that can make you Satan-Class and above, but you will need to adapt and learn how to use them. In short, you won't be at the peak of the world, but you have a very high potential, but you first need to learn how to use it, to begin with."

"...."

"...."

"Ok, since this is once in a lifetime opportunity. Can you first tell me what is the power you are gonna give me?"

The man looked at the young man before speaking. "That will be for you to find out. It's going to be a great surprise; you won't regret it." The young man replied, "That sounds like something kidnappers say to kids." The man turned to him with a blank expression and said, "I could drop you into 'Teen Titans Go' or a horror universe featuring Barney the Dinosaur."

The young man stared at the figure before him and let out a sigh. He realized that trying to annoy the being in front of him for answers wouldn't be a smart move—this was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. After all, he had died just an hour ago. At such a young age, the chance to live again in another world, even without powers, felt like a blessing to him; any powers granted would simply be a bonus. Whatever the being offered him, he would be satisfied. "Okay then. I'll have to take your word for it, but I have a couple more questions before signing anything," the young man said. The being in front of him responded with a nod.

"Will I retain all of my memories?" the young man asked. At this, the man grinned and let out a small chuckle. "I definitely didn't make a mistake in choosing you after all. Most people who agree to this often overlook that simple, yet crucial detail. After all, a reincarnation without memories is no different from living an 'original' life." The young man blinked in response.

The young man nodded before asking his next question. "Can I make a small request?" The middle-aged man raised his right eyebrow at this. "Instead of reincarnating from zero, could you transmigrate me? Let my body run on auto-pilot, and then, when I turn 14, just 'put' me into it or give me my memories back, or whatever it's called," the young man asked politely. The middle-aged man looked at him thoughtfully before nodding. "You have a point, but I'm not very patient, and I don't really feel like waiting years until the start of the canon. So, instead of transmigrating you when your body turns 14, I will do it one month before the actual start of the story." He sighed before continuing, "And before you ask, I won't just throw you into that world without a backstory; you will have an adequate one."

The young man looked in surprise, but he only gave a small grin in response. "You know, you're quite paranoid," he remarked. The young man chuckled at this before replying, "I've learned from the best—Batman. Ever since I was a kid, I've always questioned everything. There are only four rules you need to remember: make the plan, execute the plan, expect the plan to go off the rails, and then throw away the plan."

"Is that all your questions?" asked the middle-aged man, pointing to the table. "If it is, please sign it, Steven." The young man, now called Steven, took one last look at the middle-aged man before picking up the pencil and signing his name. After he wrote his name, the paper and pencil vanished as if they had never existed. "It has been a pleasure working with you, James. Farewell and have a good life. We might meet again," said the middle-aged man, waiting to hear James's last words before teleporting him. Steven looked at him and smiled—a genuine smile, free of hidden intentions. He truly had a pure soul.

"Thank you for everything. I hope we meet again, Mr. R.O.B," said James before a portal of darkness enveloped him, taking him away and leaving him unseen for quite a while. The middle-aged man spoke to no one in particular, "You can come out now; there's no need to hide from me, at least not from me." As he said this, a woman appeared behind him, her beauty rivaling that of the Goddesses. She was tall, appearing to be in her early thirties, and wore a white dress that covered her entire body, allowing not a single inch to be exposed to the world. She had long white hair and striking black eyes, along with a small mole below her right eye. "Dear, that child is going to change the world with the powers you gave him," the woman said, slowly walking to his right side and allowing a small smile to appear on her face.

"I'm well aware, honey. The contract favors him completely, with one small detail," the man said before slowly taking the woman's hand and kissing it. The woman laughed before responding, "But did you have to make him a... she?" The man smiled slightly before answering, "Angels already had a father in that world, but not a mother." "Fair enough. He's going to be surprised by his circumstances once he ascends to his new status. Do you think he'll curse you for it?" The man chuckled before responding to her question. He deserved a second chance after all, and he would likely be satisfied with whatever I gave him. It would take some time for him to adjust, but at least he wouldn't have to worry about love—his angels would be quite protective of him.

An- I don't where to put her in the timeline thinking like year before canon
