On one of Japan's beautiful countrysides, there is a tea house called Kiyomi Garden, popular for its stunning building that blends both traditional and modern architecture. The large space, with its main building surrounded by small courtyards and gardens, allows customers to enjoy tea in a public setting or in a more secluded area.
It was also clear to spectators that samurais had once lived in these buildings based on the decorations and displays showcased, which made it even more attractive.
Half an hour past noon, in one of the buildings designated as a kendo dojo, Haruki was sparring with his nephew, who refused to call him "uncle" because they were of the same age. But how could he just let him have his way?
So, from the very first moment they met, Haruki had given the guy a challenge. If he could disarm him in kendo, he could drop the "uncle" bit forever.
This was their 37th match.
