With the techniques Kaito provided and his assistance, Kuina truly had the chance to achieve her dream.
As for Tashigi?
This girl dreams of collecting all the legendary swords in the world.
Koshiro thought her goal was even harder than Kuina's!
Still, whether he said it or not, Koshiro would train both Kuina and Tashigi.
It didn't matter much in the end.
Having a direction to work toward was always better than wandering aimlessly.
"No problem!"
Kaito smiled and nodded.
After all, he was counting on them to help him conquer the world in the future!
"By the way, Kaito!
"Do you think I should bring that kid Zoro to the dojo early, or maybe settle him in the nearby village?"
"Wouldn't it be better to start building a good bond with him now?" Koshiro asked.
That kid was going to be another genius disciple for him in the future!
While he wouldn't be as gifted as Kaito, he shouldn't fall short of someone like Minato.
"As I thought, you've had your eye on Zoro all along, haven't you?"
"So, is he a descendant of Wano too?"
Kaito asked knowingly.
"Exactly!"
Koshiro nodded firmly. "He's also a descendant of my Shimotsuki family! He was entrusted to me by someone."
"For certain reasons, I had him temporarily placed in a nearby village."
That's right.
All that stuff about Zoro challenging the dojo in the future?
That was actually Koshiro's arrangement!
Where do you think all those so-called coincidences come from?
"Works for me! Do whatever you think is best," Kaito replied with indifference.
Starting to build a good relationship with Zoro early wouldn't hurt.
But that kid was still too young to start serious training.
"Alright!"
Koshiro nodded and then hesitated before asking, "I've been reviewing the future information you shared about our world."
"Do you have any plans or goals for the future here?"
"If so, could you share them with me? That way, I can start preparing."
After all, his entire family had gained immense benefits from Kaito.
Having received so much, it was only natural to contribute in return.
Otherwise, it just wouldn't sit right.
Not to mention, since the contract was in place, Kaito could take it back anytime.
If that happened, all the gains they had made after forming the contract would vanish.
Koshiro didn't want things to come to that.
Of course, as long as he didn't cross the line, Kaito probably wouldn't go that far.
"Well..."
Kaito looked at Koshiro in mild surprise before thinking for a moment. "The ultimate goal is definitely to overthrow the World Government, take control of the world, and become the new ruler of this world!"
"Not just the pirate world, but also the ninja world and beyond!"
Koshiro's pupils contracted sharply, and he gasped, "Whoa! Kaito, your goal is... insane! Can it even be done?"
"You know the World Government is incredibly powerful."
"And according to the information you shared, the true ruler behind the World Government is someone named Imu."
"This person has supposedly lived for over 800 years and was present during the founding of the World Government!"
"Can we really take down someone like that?"
He had expected Kaito's ambitions to be grand, but this was on a whole other level.
Then again, thinking it through—if he had the same once-in-a-lifetime abilities, talents, and insights that Kaito possessed, he'd probably have similar aspirations.
It's all about perspective.
"Of course, it's possible!"
Kaito smiled slightly. "Sensei, you've got to have faith in us!"
"Besides, it's not like we're going to openly declare war on the World Government right from the start."
"We'll make a plan, break it into stages, and take it step by step."
"For now, we need to lie low, grow stronger, expand our forces, and bide our time!"
"When we're fully prepared, then we'll make our move."
"Meanwhile, we need to set things up in advance, rally enough allies and supporters."
"We don't have to frame it as an anti-World Government crusade at first; we can grow under a more conventional guise."
"By the time we take action, these forces will already be so deeply tied to us that they won't be able to back out."
"At that point, even if we drag them into a rebellion against the World Government, they'll have no choice but to fight alongside us!"
"Besides, over the next decade or so in the pirate world—up until Zoro and his crew set sail—we'll remain in our development phase."
"My main focus right now will be on the ninja world."
"Only after I've unified the ninja world and consolidated its strength will I fully enter the pirate world and set the stage to overthrow the World Government."
That day was still a long way off.
"I see! I understand now. I'll do everything I can to support and help you!"
Koshiro nodded in realization.
If Kaito could unify the ninja world before fully committing to the pirate world, it would significantly reduce the difficulty of their mission.
By then, Kaito would need to be invincible in the ninja world.
That would mean he had already surpassed Uchiha Madara, the Sage of Six Paths, and even Ōtsutsuki Kaguya.
With that level of power, he'd be nearly unstoppable in the pirate world as well.
The two continued discussing many things.
Koshiro mostly asked questions, and Kaito answered. With so much knowledge about the future, Koshiro was bursting with curiosity.
"Oh right! Is the rumor about Moria stealing my ancestor Shimotsuki Ryuma's body and the legendary sword Shusui confirmed? Is he really in the Devil's Triangle right now?"
Koshiro suddenly remembered this issue and couldn't help but ask with a col tone.
His ancestor's grave had been desecrated, and both the body and the treasured sword buried with it had been stolen. How could Koshiro not be furious?
At this moment, he wished he could cut Moria down himself.
"It's confirmed," Kaito said with a nod. "Honestly, teacher, even if you didn't bring it up, I was planning to. You should retrieve your ancestor's remains and the legendary sword.
"Moria's actions are totally out of line. No wonder he got wrecked by Kaido."
After being defeated by Kaido once, Moria's confidence was completely shattered. He couldn't even use Haki properly anymore.
Instead, he developed an obsession with manipulating corpses, dreaming of using a zombie army to take on Kaido again.
What a pipe dream.
"Thanks for telling me about this," Koshiro replied gratefully. "Otherwise, I wouldn't have known.
"I need to make a trip to the Devil's Triangle soon!"
"Do you have a map of the area?"
Kaito shook his head. "There's no direct map of the Devil's Triangle.
"But the nearby Sabaody Archipelago has been mapped out for a while.
"If you're planning to go there, you can teleport to Sabaody first and then figure out how to get to the Devil's Triangle by boat.
"Alternatively, you could summon Kuro and fly from Sabaody to the Devil's Triangle.
"Later, you and your family can leave your names on Kuro's summoning contract. That way, you'll be able to call on him whenever you need."
Kuro's strength and size were growing rapidly. Carrying a few people for long-distance flights would be a piece of cake.
"That works. Thank you," Koshiro agreed readily.
"Oh, one more thing!"
Kaito suddenly remembered something. "When you find Thriller Bark, let me know.
"I'll head over to grab the Clear-Clear Fruit for myself.
"Also, Perona has great potential. Maybe we can bring her back and train her."
By now, Perona should already be living under Moria's care.
However, her attachment to him likely wasn't too deep yet, making this the perfect time to bring her on board.
The Ghost-Ghost Fruit (Hollow-Hollow Fruit) was incredibly overpowered.
With proper training, she'd definitely be an asset in the future.
"Wouldn't that be dangerous? There are tons of zombies there, and Moria himself isn't weak. Especially during this time period."
"I can't promise I'd be able to protect you in a fight with him, Kaito."
"Unless your mother agrees to go with us, I can't let you take that risk."
"You'd have to wait until after I've dealt with Moria before you can come over."
"Or I could bring back the two Devil Fruit users for you?"
Koshiro wasn't about to let Kaito put himself in danger.
If something happened to Kaito, forget Uchiha Naori—Koshiro himself would never forgive himself.
"Uh… fine, I'll wait until you're done," Kaito reluctantly agreed.
His mom had been super busy lately. He didn't want to add to her plate.
"Alright. I'll let you know when it's safe," Koshiro said, satisfied.
Still, he didn't leave right away. Instead, he spent some time with Kaito to get his family bonded with the Ninja Hawk, Kuro.
Afterward, he and his wife Lisa learned the Primal Chakra Refinement technique, successfully forming their own chakra seeds and extracting some chakra.
They mastered the Summoning Jutsu next.
Finally, after five days of settling family affairs, Koshiro said goodbye to his loved ones and Kaito before setting off.
---
By this time, Kaito and his classmates had finished their first semester exams and officially started their vacation.
"Kaito! It's time to keep your promise! Where are we going first?"
As soon as vacation began, Kushina eagerly found Kaito to ask about their plans.
She could barely contain her excitement.
"No need to rush!" Kaito chuckled. "I promised you, so of course, we'll head out soon.
"Actually, Lady Mito and the others have already been contracted. Even if it's not vacation, you can now visit this world anytime without worrying about getting caught."
"That's not the same!"
Kushina shook her head. "Traveling for a few hours here and there isn't the same as a proper trip!"
"Don't tell me you're backing out?" she teased, narrowing her eyes suspiciously.
"Not at all! Let's wait for Mikoto and the others to get here, and then we'll decide together," Kaito reassured her.
Before long, Mikoto and Minato arrived.
After some discussion, they set out on a long vacation journey.
---
Over the next month, they spent most of their time traveling and exploring.
They visited many places in the East Blue.
For example, they befriended Nami's family in Cocoyasi Village and met Ace and Sabo in Windmill Village.
They also visited Syrup Village, where they met Usopp and Kaya's family.
Unfortunately, the Pirate Kuro (Klahadore) hadn't yet infiltrated the village disguised as a shipwreck survivor.
Otherwise, Kaito would've dealt with him and earned Kaya's gratitude right then and there.
Still, Kaito cured Kaya's congenital illness, bringing her favorability toward him up to 76 points—just a bit shy of 80.
He planned to visit her again later and teach her some medical skills. That should do the trick.
As for Usopp?
Heh. Kaito never thought Usopp was worth the time.
