"Ha! Excellent! Let's do it this way! I'll examine you both first!"
Kureha laughed heartily, clearly satisfied with the straightforward attitude of this "little brat."
Without further ado, she began to conduct a thorough checkup of Kaito and Uchiha Jiri.
Within ten minutes, the examination was complete.
Her expression turned to one of surprise as she looked at the two. "Your conditions are better than I anticipated! It's obvious your recovery occurred within the past two weeks."
"Little one, what method did you use to heal yourselves? This isn't something ordinary medical techniques could achieve. Did you use some sort of secret vitality-enhancing technique?"
She paused, then waved dismissively. "Never mind, I won't pry into that."
"In any case, your recovery is beyond expectations. I'll prescribe two more formulas to speed it up. With my prescriptions and your methods, Kaito, you should be fully healed within a month."
"And as for you…"
Her gaze shifted to Uchiha Jiri.
"With the damage to your body's essence, using my treatment alongside Kaito's techniques, ten days should be enough for your physical recovery."
"But the loss of your soul's essence is more complex."
"Even if I prepare a specific soul-restoration potion, it will take at least six months, maybe a year, to fully recover."
"When that's done, your right eye should also recover, provided we use the right methods."
Kureha's blunt words left Jiri in shock, but she continued, unfazed. "Your blindness in that right eye is directly linked to the loss of your life and soul essence, correct? This kind of technique... best not to use it again. It's a life-shortener."
"Additionally, your left eye and the meridians around it are severely damaged. Your vision must have been significantly affected."
"While Kaito's methods have somewhat restored the vitality of your left eye, it's far from sufficient. I'll prescribe a formula to nourish and strengthen your eyes and their surrounding meridians. Use it long-term. Once your eyes and their meridians are strong enough to avoid further damage, you can stop."
Kureha speculated that Jiri likely possessed an ocular bloodline ability.
However, she suspected the bloodline was either incomplete or had weakened over generations. This likely caused the recurring damage to the eye and its meridians whenever its power was used.
Her prescription was merely a targeted treatment, not the ultimate solution. The best approach would be to strengthen and purify the bloodline itself, fixing the issue at its root.
But that process would require rare materials and far more effort than Kureha cared to expend. She decided it was better to leave the problem-solving to Kaito after he mastered her medical techniques.
From the speed of his recovery, she had no doubt about his potential.
As for the chakra-related drawbacks?
She'd noticed them too but chose to stay silent.
In her view, as long as nutrition was maintained, and they avoided overusing cellular energy to the point of abnormal cell death, it wouldn't be a problem.
And nutrition, as well as life energy, were plentiful in this world.
"Even something like this is possible? Then thank you, Lady Kureha!"
Jiri couldn't hide her joy. The thought of resolving the Mangekyō Sharingan's vision regression filled her with hope, and she expressed her gratitude sincerely.
Her mind raced with possibilities. "If this formula can strengthen my eyes and meridians, could it resolve the Mangekyō's deterioration entirely? Could it even push my Sharingan to the Eternal Mangekyō level like Uchiha Madara's?"
Yes, Jiri was well aware of the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan.
After all, she'd lived through the Uchiha clan's golden era.
Though she had been young at the time, her family's status as part of the Great Elder lineage meant she knew many of the clan's secrets.
Unfortunately, after Madara's departure from Konoha, many ancient texts, jutsu scrolls, and clan knowledge were lost, leaving even middle-aged and elder clansmen in the dark about much of their heritage.
"No big deal!"
Kureha waved her hand dismissively and handed over written prescriptions for Kaito and Jiri, including one to nourish and repair their eyes.
"Here, these are your prescriptions. The ingredients can all be found on Drum Island. I won't bother mixing them for you."
"As for the nutritional tonics, body-strengthening potions, and the soul-recovery medicine for your mother, those will take a few days to prepare."
"Oh, and the longevity formula? I already have a copy. I'll fetch it for you now!"
"Come along, and I'll also show you my medical library. You'll need it if you're planning to learn from me. Take what you need in the future."
"Follow me!"
She headed to a room at the back, and Kaito followed closely.
They soon arrived at a massive room lined with shelves, all filled with medical texts.
Kureha went to the far end, activated a mechanism, and retrieved a treasure box. She opened it and pulled out a sheet of paper.
"Here's the longevity formula. Memorize it and give the paper back. I don't feel like writing another copy, and this prevents you from losing it."
"With your soul and mental strength, you should be able to remember it in one go, right?"
She'd noticed plenty of peculiarities during her earlier examination.
For instance, Kaito's exceptional soul and mental strength, the threefold cellular density he and his mother possessed, and some unique traits in their eyes and brain.
But Kureha was a person of principle. She wouldn't delve into their secrets without permission.
Based on her observations, she was confident that with proper nutrition and effort, Kaito and his mother could easily surpass normal limits in physical training and Haki, even reaching Yonko-level strength in the future.
"Yes, I can manage that."
Kaito took the paper, glanced at it, and effortlessly committed its contents to memory. Then he handed it back.
"Ha!"
Kureha locked the paper away, chuckling. "You're the ones who let me examine you, so don't blame me for noticing things!"
Still, she couldn't resist offering one last piece of advice.
"With three times the normal cellular density, your potential in body-strengthening and Armament Haki is immense. But keep that detail a secret. It could attract the wrong kind of attention."
"Of course, once you're invincible, disregard my warning."
"There used to be a tribe called the Lunarians, known as the 'God Clan.' They had exceptional flame abilities and survivability. But because of their talents, the World Government targeted them and nearly wiped them out."
"The last known survivor is said to be under Emperor Kaido's command in the New World."
Kaito nodded solemnly. "I understand. Thank you for the warning, Lady Kureha."
Indeed, as his body recovered, he had noticed the benefits of his triple-cell structure in physical training.
Jiri's progress was even more obvious.
