"Does this room suit you? Would you like me to arrange two separate rooms?"
Hancock led Uchiha Kaito to a spacious and elegant cabin, pausing to ask her question with some politeness.
"This is fine. One room will suffice," Uchiha Jiri replied with a glance around, nodding approvingly. She then added, "By the way, how long will it take to reach the Sabaody Archipelago from here?"
"Hmm…" Hancock hesitated for a moment before responding, "It'll probably take another day or two. Is there a problem?"
Hancock held a favorable impression of Jiri and Kaito. Without their intervention, she and her sisters would have likely been captured and sold as slaves.
"No, it's nothing. Just curious," Jiri said with a dismissive wave of her hand. "You should go; your companions still need your help. Once you're done, feel free to come back. You can bring us some food later."
"Understood! Thank you again. I'll check on them and return shortly with something for you to eat," Hancock replied earnestly before hurrying off.
Once alone, Jiri closed the door and turned to Kaito. "It seems like you know quite a bit about young Hancock and this pirate crew. Care to share with me?"
"Of course," Kaito agreed readily, recounting what he knew in detail.
---
"Oh?" Jiri listened intently, her expression shifting to one of intrigue. "An all-female warrior tribe from Amazon Lily, many of whom have mastered Armament Haki, and some even Observation Haki. A faction with dual-Haki expertise? Fascinating."
"It does remind me of Nadeshiko Village back in the shinobi world," she mused, "a place also populated entirely by women."
"..." Kaito immediately thought of Jiraiya and his dubious ties to that village, which even managed to drag Naruto into the mess.
"So, what do you think about asking for their dual-Haki training methods as a reward? Would that work?" Jiri asked. She was clearly intrigued by this world's power systems and wanted to delve deeper into them. From what she had seen in battle and heard from Kaito, both Observation and Armament Haki held immense potential.
"I wouldn't recommend it," Kaito responded, shaking his head. "Haki is integral to Amazon Lily's heritage. Asking for that could easily offend them, even if they owe us a favor. It's not worth the risk."
"They're about to meet their former captain, Shakky, who also happens to be Amazon Lily's previous empress. Shakky is a master of dual Haki and has incredible intelligence networks. Not to mention her partner, Silvers Rayleigh—the former right-hand man of the Pirate King."
"Rayleigh is a peak-level master of all three forms of Haki. In terms of raw power, he's likely stronger than most Kage-level shinobi and only legends like Hashirama Senju or Madara Uchiha could beat him."
Kaito's tone carried both admiration and anticipation. "We can ask for Rayleigh or Shakky's insights into mastering all three forms of Haki, as well as the Rokushiki (Six Powers) techniques and Life Return. These are not tied to Amazon Lily's traditions, and they'll find it hard to refuse such a reasonable request from their benefactors."
"That does sound more appropriate," Jiri agreed thoughtfully. "But are you certain they'd agree? Insights from someone on that Rayleigh's level must be incredibly valuable."
"Absolutely," Kaito replied confidently. "Shakky and Rayleigh aren't petty people. They value honor and gratitude. If necessary, I can even offer them exclusive information they can't refuse in exchange."
"Either way, I won't leave this world without those techniques."
Jiri nodded, smiling at her son's determination. "If you're this confident, I'll support your plan. By the way, what exactly are Rokushiki and Life Return? They sound intriguing."
"They are," Kaito confirmed. "Rokushiki is a set of superhuman physical techniques developed by the World Government. It focuses on unlocking the body's potential and greatly enhancing physical capabilities. In fact, Rokushiki is often a precursor to mastering Observation and Armament Haki."
"And Life Return?"
"That's the pinnacle of body control. It allows a practitioner to regulate every cell, enhance digestion, accelerate recovery, and even convert consumed food directly into life energy. Imagine how much that could help us recover and strengthen ourselves."
Kaito's eyes gleamed as he elaborated. "Think about it: combining Life Return with our own training techniques and chakra systems could significantly enhance our recovery and even restore lost vitality."
After hearing his detailed explanation, Jiri's eyes widened in understanding. "Controlling every part of the body… accelerating recovery… that could have immense implications for chakra regeneration as well. This is indeed a rare and powerful skill!"
"Yes, but mastering it isn't easy," Kaito cautioned. "Even in this world, only a handful of geniuses have managed it. Among the CP9, for example, only someone named Rob Lucci is known to have achieved it."
"Difficulty isn't an issue," Jiri said confidently. "If we have the training methods, I'll master it. After all, I'm a genius too!"
Kaito chuckled at her self-assurance. "Of course, Mom. You're amazing."
"By the way," Kaito continued, "have you noticed how much stronger the people of this world are compared to those in the shinobi world?"
"I have," Jiri replied, nodding. "The sheer vitality and resilience of their bodies are remarkable. It's likely due to the environment here. The oceans are teeming with massive, powerful creatures—some stretching thousands of meters long."
She added thoughtfully, "If the creatures on land are anything like that, it's no wonder the people here have such incredible physiques."
"Exactly," Kaito agreed. "That's why I suggest we regularly hunt Sea Kings and other beasts for their meat. Consuming such nutrient-dense food while training could significantly accelerate our recovery and strengthen our bodies."
"Hmm, an excellent idea," Jiri said with approval, her gaze determined.
