Chapter 28 - Virgintiy

"The next question he asked me was about my virginity. Damn! I was embarrassed," I complained to Salsa as we sat at the edge of the garden, cutting the flowers and weeding off.

She snorted, and gazed upon me with her pitiable porcine face, "You don't need to worry yourself," she whispered, glaring around to see if anyone was at earshot, "I overheard Opula tell Doctor Newman to ask you questions about your virginity," she whispered and glared around.

"What!" I exclaimed nosily and Salsa gestured at me to keep my voice down, "But what do they need my virginity status for? What insolence! These girls are impossible," I mumbled at earshot.

"You must understand that these girls are up to ruin," she whispered, still glaring around, "All they do is spend their father's money lavishly and live life to the fullest. Their husbands are a bunch of weaklings and live-in husbands that don't have a say because they married the girls because of Fanny's wealth. They are so vulgar and annoying." She shook her head pitiably, "I am sorry; you may have to find a way to cope with them. I just hope someday your husband will gain his sanity and everything will fall into place."

I asked gently "is that why the girls are lavishing their father's wealth? Because their only son and heir to the Fanny Group is insane"?

Salsa glared around before she mumbled, "Yes, they are happy Brian is insane even though they pretend not to be happy, especially Opula. They believe they are in charge now and control the family's wealth. Since their only brother is mad, he only exists as a vegetable. That is why they want to dominate you as well, even they are not happy to have you as their brother's contract wife."

The gossip was getting interesting, as I shook my auburn hair. But literally, this was more than gossip. I really needed to know everyone's temperament at the villa and I hoped Salsa would be helpful.

I snorted, looking weak and drawn. I glared around for Opula before saying, "Talking about Brian's madness. Can you reveal to me what led to it?

"Ha! Ha! No! I win! I win! I will kill you! I win!"

I flinched and had always flinched whenever his scream came through.

Brain hadn't been shouting all this while we discussed it because he was having a nap and since his usual scream interrupted us, it meant he had woken up.

Salsa stared around, before saying, "Please can we discuss this in my chamber? Walls have got eras.

I shook my head in agreement and we stood and made to her chamber. I knew she was avoiding the ears of the girls.

She cleared her voice and stared at space thoughtfully, "It happened four years ago. Brian was such a loving, caring, talented young man. He was down to earth and wanted everyone to be happy. In fact, he gifted me my first diamond watch. He took after his late mother. Don't forget he was a talented musician too. He produced two albums which didn't make it to the hall of fame. His late mother supported him so much, even when Fanny Luis wanted him to be a business administrator so that he could control the family's conglomerate," her voice broke out…

Salsa lowered her gaze as tears trickled down her cheeks. She wiped her tears to continue.

"There, came the era of Best Music Award in Rio Hondo. Brian was nominated for the award. Some of his cronies had told him that higher authorities were trying to rob him of the award, and when he consulted his father to use his discretion as the richest man in Rio Hondo to stop them, he was turned down. In one of those days, his mother was driving him to the venue for the award when they had an accident. He survived while his mother was placed on oxygen…"

Another tear interrupted Salsa, and she sniffed and wiped it, "Regrettably, Brian was robbed of the Best Music Award and his mother died too. He was heartbroken. He was shattered. He was downtrodden and disgruntled. One fateful day, he woke up and started screaming at the top of his voice, I win! I will kill you! I win! Ha! Ha! And that was it. He became the most violent mad man in Rio Hondo, ever after…"

By the time Salsa was done narrating to me the ordeal that led to his madness, I had broken down in tears too.

"Such an innocent boy who was only clothed with misfortune," I said, wiping my tears and sniffing back the tears yet to trickle down. "I did some search in his chamber earlier today and I found this." I presented the secret diary and music tapes of Brian.

Salsa collected them from me and started perusing through carefully. "Yes, he expected the misfortune that was about to befall him that was why he noted them down. He became mad because of two things; the Best Music Award, which he didn't win and the painful death of his mother. He loved his mother so much. He could do anything for her…"

We were yet speaking when we heard a thick male voice calling Salsa and knocking on the door. I suspected that to be one of the husband's of the girls.

Salsa whispered to me hastily, "Go into my bathroom and hide go," she gestured at me and waited for me to hide before answering the door.

"Come on, baby, what took you so long to answer the door?" that was the voice of Ken, Opula's husband.

I peeped at them from the bathroom, covering my mouth in shame as Ken held Salsa on her thick waist and kissed her sensually.

I wondered how long this had been happening at the villa.

"We just need to be careful, Ken. I don't want your wife's trouble," Salsa nagged as he pressed his muscular body to hers and squeezed her fat buttocks.

"You don't need to be afraid, Salsa. You are the one that I love. I am only married to that bitch because of her father's wealth," Ken groaned, stripped quickly and assisted Salsa to strip of her maiden dress.

Soon they were naked, and he took her big breast in his mouth and devoured her. Salsa fell on the sofa behind her when she couldn't bear it…
