The cold air night pressed against his skin, his heart racing to keep up the sudden increase in pace, he needed to get out of there and fast, he had something that while it may look human, was definitely not, after him.
A strange feeling overcame him, forcing him to launch himself forward, diving into the ground just in time for his head to get out of the way of a red spear that was letting out a sickly presence of blood lust. The same person that had killed him once was here once more to finish the job.
Run, keep running, don't look back, this was something he could not face head on, desperation and the desire to live, to see his dream come true, that was his fuel to keep going, to help, and to save others; to become a hero of justice.
A gust of wind had brought him back as he was pushed a few meters inside, quickly dragging himself across the ground and away from the crimson spear and the man in a blue suit, his expression showed he did not want or like what he was about to do, but he had no choice but to do it, the spear was lifted, aimed directly at his chest for a quick death, as painless as it could be.
His mind raced, he did not want to die, not like this, not without achieving his dream and promise, not without being able to smile like HE could.
Feeling his desire, the heavens seemed to answer his call, red marks being engraved into his hand as a burst of energy was cast down, the spear was pushed away as the man aiming to take his life jumped away, clearly taken by surprise.
"The seventh servant?!"
The surprise was clear in his voice, looking at the new arrival: A feminine figure who stood tall and elegant, a flowing robe clung to her slender body, with golden patterns, under the hood an elegant and long pale blue was seen.
The woman had turned, looking down at the young man on the ground as she felt the connection, the link to her master.
"I ask of you..."
Her voice echoed softly through the workshop, a sound that resonated far deeper than he expected. It wasn't just the words themselves, there was something beneath them, something that gripped at his chest like a phantom hand. It sent chills down his spine, sharp enough to make him forget the cold night air, the ache in his legs, and even the danger that still lingered outside the walls. The world around him seemed to fade into a dull, distant hum as his gaze met hers.
Her eyes were beautiful, yes, but he couldn't get it, while she was attractive, he wasn't one who only saw the body, her eyes were the most captivating thing, no person should carry such a burden and sadness behind their eyes, what was it? He couldn't know exactly, was it loneliness? Or perhaps she had resigned to a fate she did not agree with...
He felt his breath get caught in his throat, his heart loudly pounding in his chest, as if it understood what his mind could not, it felt like a tug at his very own soul, he felt a connection to her.
"Are you my master?"
The woman spoke, glancing down at him with an expressionless face, nor cold nor warm, simply indifference. Her voice cutting through the silence and stillness, a melodic and clear voice with no hostility, arrogance or challenge.
Hearing such melody sent a shiver down Shirou's spine. Her eyes, still locked on his, made the words feel even heavier. There was no mistaking her question, nor the expectation that lingered within it. She was waiting, not just for an answer, but for something else. For Shirou to prove himself, to be something. He felt pinned under her presence, like a moth caught in the light of a distant star.
"Are you my master?"
She repeated, softer this time, and Shirou finally realized his mouth had gone dry. He swallowed hard, his thoughts in disarray, but one thing was clear: this moment would change everything.
Her focus on him was broken as she turned to the outside, going out to face the man with a spear who had been silently watching, he seemed eager for a fight with someone who was more of a challenge than he could put up.

Short chapter due to low time to write, but i'll try to keep it to at least 2 chapters per week, i also have to rewatch Fate since it's been so long since i did and i need a proper grasp of the events and personalities again.
