"Mom!" Bright shouted as he awoke from his two week slumber. His heart raced as he breathed heavily. It took sometime before he actually calmed down as he assessed the situation he was in. Suddenly, he felt a painful sensation that circulated round his torso. He took a look and couldn't believe what he saw. His torso was burned all round from chest to the back. Though the burns were not that crutial it still would leave a huge disgusting scar. Slowly pain started to kick in.
"Wh...what happened to me!???" Bright asked himself as he held his face covering the horror expression that formed.
Bit by bit the memories started coming back.
"A.....a big bang...an explosion?"he thought not sure if to believe it or not.
The pain from the burns pained even more. Bright couldn't handle it. He screamed feeling as if something was about to rip out of him inside out. The medical team near by rushed in finding Bright down fidgeting.
"Go get the doctor... hurry!"a senior no nurse ordered an internship nurse who dashed at her topest speed to the doctor's office. She didn't even knock once at the door but just entered suddenly.
"Sorry for the intrusion sir... patient X-r is awake .....he appears to be in pain though."the nurse said.
The doctor got up instantly. He grabbed his stethoscope and magesticly at the same moment hurriedly walked towards the patient room. He grabbed his phone on the way calling his subordinate. The contact was labeled Philly Tenshi.
"He's awake," the doctor said turning left seeing the room up ahead.
"Am on my way... thanks for everything doc"the voice on the other side said with a tone of honest gratitude.
"Not yet...we still have a lot ahead of us."the doctor said a serious look on his face forming drastically."Don't thank me yet" he finalized.
The doctor entered the room finding the senior nurse alongside two other nurses trying to stabilize Bright.
"What's the situation?"the doctor asked rolling up his sleeves his ocean blue eyes fixated on Bright.
"Doctor Dave.....the patient is experiencing after pain from the burns."the senior nurse said sweat slowly dripping down his face.
The doctor looked at Bright once more. His eyes gave out a quick fade blue glow. His vision now could see the insides of Bright's body. His burns glowed red different from the normal green color from the rest of his body. He found the cause of the pain.
"Get me some IV morphine."the doctor said blinking five times deactivating the ultar sight.
"Right away sir!"the nurse said preparing a shot quickly,"here sir."he handed out the shot to the doctor who gently injected it into neck of Bright on the exterior jugular vein. Bright's mourns of pain went silent as he dozed off.
"Amazing!"the nurses in the room said unknowing that the doctor possessed the skill to see inside the human body. Just then Philly entered looking composed but worry lingered around her. She approched the doctor.
"How is he?"she whispered standing beside him as she gazed upon her nephew.
"He woke up and his burns acted up. He's ok."the doctor said grabbing a stray cigarette roll in his lab coat.
"Thank goodness."she said relived.
"Now the....on to the second one.....shall we miss Philly?"the doctor said walking out the room.
Philly's turned following behind the doctor knowing damn well what awaited her.....pure horror.
