Chaos Breaker moved at an impressive speed despite the size of the fortress, It took us about three hours to travel from Sharia to the Demon Continent, and specifically we would go north, about three days' travel from the city of Neuquén.
According to Peragius, the area where Laplace is sealed is with a monument made by his demon soldiers so it will be easy to identify.
"Well...we've arrived, everyone get ready" Peragius said and so we followed him to a teleportation circle and jumped into it
I opened my eyes and found myself in a stone ruin with which I am already familiar.
""Well, let's go out" Peragius muttered.
The three of us followed Peragius until we were outside the ruins, as you would expect from this place the heat was tremendous, but that wouldn't stop us.
"The monument is a half hour walk from here, follow me" Peragius continued and so we continued.
She didn't have a mana eye like Ghislaine but even with the naked eye one could see rainbow colored particles floating in the air, That's how dense the mana that accumulated here was...
Peragius led the way, followed by Orsted, then me, and finally Rudeus, who held his staff tightly.
And as Peragius said, after half an hour of walking we came to what seemed to be a building in the middle of this desert, and it was only a stone structure with four walls, and on the roof there was a huge stone that extended to about ten meters.
"Is it there?..." I muttered as I looked at the structure.
"Yes, when we defeated him the demons erected a monument to their fallen general, we could have stopped it but we didn't want to, since when we saw it it was a reminder of our victory." Peragius explained with a sadistic smile.
"Well... let me summon my armor first" Rudeus said as he pulled out the scroll from his robes.
Peragius nodded and so we waited, I approached The structure didn't look like anything out of the ordinary, but I could see inside it a red orb with black rings...
The orb was approximately two meters and at first glance it was clear that it was composed of pure mana, which made me shudder.
When I turned behind me, Rudeus had already summoned his armor, it was different from the previous one, probably an improved version, that was good.
He quickly got into it and started walking towards the monument.
"Well... now what do I have to do?" Rudeus muttered.
"I'll do the spell to undo the seal and you'll provide me with mana, you already have experience in this while you'll help Nanahoshi with her magic circles right?" Peragius murmured.
"Okay..." He muttered and placed his hand on the wall of the monument.
Suddenly Peragius started speaking in a language he didn't understand and apparently Rudeus didn't either.
"That is the language of the Dragonfolk, this and the spell to reach Hitogami can only be performed by the dragon race and require an abysmal amount of mana" Orsted explained.
"I see, so that's what made your victory so difficult, huh?" I muttered.
Orsted grimaced but then nodded.
"Yes, but with you and Rudeus here..."I feel hopeful," Orsted said.
Peragius continued talking for a full minute until he finally closed his mouth and rose from his place.
"It's done, get ready everyone" he said
And the next moment the monument began to crack until it became a simple mound of sand.
Rudeus got away from there as fast as he could and stood behind us.
The red orb began to change color and spin at a tremendous speed for about ten seconds until it stopped and with a (puff!!) it dissolved and revealed a tall man with green hair
At first glance Laplace looked quite similar to Orsted, only a little older and with his characteristic green hair.
The guy was naked and on his knees, but then he started to move, leaned on some rubble and got up from the ground.
"The spell didn't work?..." He murmured.
He looked at his hands, then looked around in confusion.
I took advantage of this to put myself on guard like the others, but this seemed to get their attention.
He looked at us in disbelief but it only took him seconds to realize.
"I see... you undid the seal, what a idiots" he said.
Peragius clicked his tongue at this and Almanfi and Silvaril teleported behind him.
"You... are from that time... are you still allied with humans? Are you still helping that inferior species?!" Laplace said indignantly, with his eyes closed in anger.
"Are you still with that same shit? I always knew you were crazy, but Urupen took too long to realize it" Peragius said angrily.
This only made Laplace angrier and then he looked at Orsted and a look of fear crossed his face, But then he noticed me and a look of anger came over his face.
"Damn humans, they reproduce like cockroaches, I'll get even with you Aldebaran!" Laplace shouted as he formed a red orb in his hand.
Aldebaran?...it must refer to Rudeus, perhaps I confused it with the armor of they Fighting God.
"Careful!!" Peragius shouted and the orb launched itself towards us at a horrifying speed.
We all managed to dodge it, the orb continued on its way and crashed into a mountain creating a huge explosion that left me and Rudeus in shock.
But Peragius and his spirits had already pounced on Laplace, the guy simply brushed them away like flies destroying Almanfi in the process....oh shit.
"Rudeus, cover me!!" I shouted as I gathered my mana into Kajakut and rushed at Laplace.
The guy didn't have time to react and I made a huge cut on his chest.
"yeaaagh!!" He screamed as he looked at me with hatred, but when he tried to attack me he was sent flying by an electric shock from Rudeus.
"Alright...you can get past their defenses, keep going like this" Orsted said behind me.
I just nodded and lunged back at him.
Laplace crashed into a mountain at enormous speed, but he didn't even flinch. When I was close to him, he threw another red orb at me, which I barely dodged.
But this left his arm exposed so with a long sword of Light I cut it off with a simple cut.
"urrrgh!!, fucking human!, how can you break through?!" He shouted angrily.
"It's because I'm the Sword God, asshole!" I shouted.
"God what?!, fucking arrogant humans will never even be able to dream of the title of-urrrgh!!!"
Laplace screamed but a direct attack to Peragius' solar plexus sent him flying towards another mountain.
Rudeus and Orsted followed behind us, Rudeus giving me support and Orsted intervening if things went wrong.
When we reached Laplace he was fully recovered and had two huge red orbs in his hands which he threw at us.
This caught Peragius off guard and he was barely able to avoid it but Silvaril was not so lucky.
But before I could worry about the spirit of light, Laplace lunged at me at high speed, but he wasn't that fast, Orsted might be even faster, so dodging him was easy.
Laplace passed by me at high speed, but before he knew it a stone pillar fell on him courtesy of Rudeus.
Peragius and I momentarily retreated to see the damage, but just then the pillar exploded into a thousand pieces.
"raaaaaaaaaah!!!" Laplace gave a guttural cry that made me shudder and immediately he launched himself at me but was stopped halfway by a stone bullet that made him fall to the ground.
Before he could get up I ran towards him and with a long sword of light I cut his legs making him fall face down.
"Peragius!!, Rudeus entertain him!!" I screamed
They both looked at me confused but nodded, Orsted was in the same position but looked alert in case of emergency
Laplace's legs regenerated almost immediately, and at that moment Peragius arrived.
It was clear that Peragius had no chance against him, but he was buying me time.
That was the case, but unlike him, Rudeus attacked him with blows that seemed to damage him, apparently his physical strength with the armor is greater.
The moment I saw this I accumulated mana in the sword while raising it above my head.
"In my right hand a sword!!, In my left hand a sword!!" I screamed and the rubble around me began to float "With my sword I will claim thousands of lives!!" I shouted at the top of my lungs and the next moment Laplace began to float.
The shock on his face only lasted a few seconds before he threw another red orb at me, but with gravity magic the orb returned to its caster and hit him squarely, I took advantage of this and compacted the explosion as densely as I could and when it had dissipated, I completed the technique
"I am the Sword God Gino Britzs haaaa!!" I shouted as I made an arc downwards with my sword.
Laplace fell to the ground at super speed followed by a huge crater and an explosion that sent me flying, I should learn to control this sword...
With wind magic I cushioned my fall, I didn't wait another second and started running back towards the crater, I got there in less than a second and quickly extended my hands towards the sky, the clouds above me turned completely black and dense lightning bolts began to appear, this was in less than ten seconds and in the eleventh second I launched an electric bolt with all my strength towards the crater.
The pillar of light hit the ground and the shockwave cramped my feet and made my ears ring, but seconds later another pillar of light larger than mine came out of nowhere, I looked behind me and there was Rudeus as well.
It took us a few moments like this until we cancelled our respective spells, and with wind magic clear smoke from surroundings.
Peragius and Orsted were also behind us as they looked at the crater.

From the crater a figure jumped into the air and fell like a rag doll about fifty meters away.
It was Laplace, the skin on his entire body was completely charred and he was missing an arm.
It's now or never!!
Faced with this image I did not hesitate any longer and I rushed towards it with all my strength.
Because of his injuries and because I am faster Laplace could not react, and with one cut I opened his chest.
At the same momentum of my attack I turned around and cut his back
Laplace fell to his knees, while letting out a guttural cry.
I could see his wounds starting to regenerate but an attack from Peragius followed by a shower of stone bullets from Rudeus made him stay in his position.
The damn thing screamed in agony as it writhed, using its body as a shield as it searched for the area where its core was, it had to be careful not to break its sacred treasure or it would be all in vain
"Zenicktrensok!!! Tacharan Niktaaaaaa!!!" Laplace shouted in a language I couldn't understand and a huge explosion occurred around him.
I was barely able to cover myself but the blast blew me away.
"He's trying to escape!! Stop him!!" Peragius shouted.
And yes, Laplace had been overwhelmed and used a spell to distract us, but I could see that only by using that spell did he weaken.
He had already fully recovered, but his posture was lethargic and he looked at us with hatred.
"Fucking human!!!, Peragiuuuus!!!, you should be ashamed of yourself for relaxing at his level!!, You!-"
Laplace tried to scream but with my father's sword I stabbed him in his solar plexus, where his nucleus was.
Laplace's face froze on the spot and he looked at me with a face that was a mixture of hearing and anger.
"Youuuuu!! Agh!!" He murmured but buried Kajakut in his chest as well.
Laplace stopped struggling and fell to the ground with a thud and the next moment his body began to turn to ash until only a yellow crystal remained in the area where his heart was.
"Is it done?..." I muttered
"Yes, he's gone forever" Peragius murmured
I sighed at this and let myself fall back into place.
"his sacred treasure..." Orsted muttered as he walked towards me, he looked at me for a few moments and then smiled at me and picked up the crystal.
Orsted put the crystal into his robe with a smile.
"Thank you very much Gino Britzs, thank you very much everyone" he said while looking at Peragius and Rudeus
I just smiled at this, I wasn't physically tired, I was mentally tired.
There was nothing more to say, Orsted took the sacred treasure with him and so we returned home, Laplace had finally been defeated...
