Synopsis
After countless timelines and over 100 desperate battles, Homura Akemi finally did it, she defeated Walpurgisnacht without losing a single friend. Madoka never made her self-sacrificing wish, and for the first time, she had won. with no compromises . . . But fate said fuck that In a moment of unexpected danger, Homura has to Madoka once more, but with her soul gem too blackened, she can't use her magic and tanks the falling debris. but something goes horrendously wrong. her shield goes haywire and starts reversing through time, then going forward, then going through space and time. they are then sent out into an entirely different world, something way different from what they are used to. a world where supernatural abilities called "Quirks" shape society, and magical girls are nothing more than fun fictional dreams. now in this new, VERY different world with no kuybuy, no magical girls, and no whiches. . . ? Homura will have to adapt, and maybe, just maybe, enjoy this world as a nice well-deserved permanent vacation. . . maybe. or maybe not. but she will try. ------- this is quite different from what I'm used to but I can't sleep at night because of this idea, so I will try to write it, but don't expect quality goods or quality update schedules. pmmm is my favorite anime hands down but I can't really write drama out well. so I steered clear of it, but a crossover with Mha might work. also ,this synopsis is quite vague cause I'm trying to do something new, an actual story. so there is some mystery in it. but not much, also you can't have pmmm without angst.

Chapter 1 - prologue - it was over right?

The 4 girls were laid across the ground among the ruins of a flooded city block, covered in mud, blood, sweat, and tears. A gentle spread of rain sprinkled across the place from the darkened sky that was slowly starting to clear up.

Consciousness returns, and soon they take in the sight all around them, it was devastating

the bridge had collapsed

the river was overflowing

entire buildings falling apart like houses made of cards.

Gathering what strength they had left, they looked to the sky with narrowed eyes, making sure something was there or not. But the overwhelming presence could no longer be felt, it was gone, it was over. After god knows how many attempts, the immovable obstacle was finally gone.

With the intensity of the battle calming down, the first one to speak up was Mami Tomoe, her instincts and duty as a senior kicked in, her voice was steady despite the exhaustion "Is everyone ok?"

For a moment, only the sound of rain answered her, and dread crept into her thoughts. What if...?

But her thoughts were cut short "Define. . . ok" came a familiar, sardonic voice from somewhere to her left. Mami turned toward a cluster of Cafe tables knocked about, and saw Sayaka Miki sprawled over a table, having a hard time moving. She gave out a groan while weakly waving a hand. "Because I feel, broken in at least three different places. ow!"

Relief surged through Mami because Sayaka was her same usual self and not dead, which is a good thing. Seeing her move and speak was a good enough indicator that she was fine so she kept looking around, hoping to spot another companion of her's.

After another second or two, sakura Kyoko was pushing parts of rock and buildings off her body before standing up with a grin, holding a thumbs up to confirm her well-being was good to the blonde instructor, which was enough for her to keep looking for the others.

At the far end of the ruined street stood Homura Akemi, battered beyond belief. Her arm was completely gone, her body bruised and bloodied, as though she had been thrown down a flight of stairs—several times. Yet, despite this, she walked with steady determination, seemingly unfazed by her injuries.

For anyone else, Mami would have rushed over in panic, but this was Homura. She was... different. Way more resilient and indifferent than other magical girls. but that what made homura, homura.

Their eyes briefly met. With Homura giving Mami a slight, almost dismissive notion—a silent command to check on the others. Understanding the gesture, Mami nodded back and hurried toward Sayaka and Kyoko.

Homura paused, standing before a building that was fully intact, unlike the buildings surrounding it, but something faint shimmered over its surface—a subtle, almost imperceptible purple tint that only someone attuned to magic could see.

a barrier, one she had made, before the fight had begun

she clenched her remaining fist, 'It had held, good'

"Madoka?" she called out hopefully, an expression of tiredness and dread creeping onto her expression. . .

she waited, as the dreed grew, and her hope dwindled but then—footsteps. Slow, hesitant, but drawing closer.

Homura's breath caught as a figure emerged from behind the corner of the building—a schoolgirl with soft pink hair tied into two distinctive side locks adorned with small bows.

The girl's eyes worked the street, searching for danger, it was filled with slight fear and nervousness, but at the sight of Homura's condition, it instantly turned to worry.

"homura-chan!" she cried out as she started to walk towards homura, in which the girl smiled at her, a tired, but relieved smile 'It was done, I had done it'

homura's body started to wobble as her body which was already too damaged for more movements and was only moving due to Homura's sheer will and determination to make sure Madoka was fine.

Now that it was confirmed that she was, she could let herself go, let herself rest, for the first time in years.

Madoka stumbled toward her, trembling but determined. Homura swayed, her strength nearly gone, letting herself take a break

and then she saw it.

Perched on top of the building Madoka had just exited was the familiar, loathsome creature with two crimson, soulless beady eyes that gleamed in the dim light, its sight on its target

Kyubey.

Its unnervingly pristine white tail twitched once with sharp precision. Before Homura could react, the structure behind Madoka groaned ominously. The upper half of the building began to shift, sliding free with a terrifying crack.

"No—!"

Homura surged forward, adrenaline overriding her failing body. There's no time to move her...

the building started to hurdle downwards towards Madoka, and if not saved in time, would most likely kill her.

Homura's mind raced, calculating every way she could approach the problem 'Can't use time stop, too close to turning, can't take out Greef seed, not enough time. I also can't push her out of the way, too much debris, meaning I have to block it. damnit why, WHY'

homura felt rage build up in her at the thought of that white fuck trying to sabotage her again, but she quickly put it down for later, madoka first.

With a final, desperate leap, Homura thrust her shield forward, bracing herself between Madoka and the falling debris.

the pointed rock made contact to the shield and

CRACK!

The impact had struck her shield dead-center breaking through the durable glass and hitting the delicate, clock-like core of its mechanism. 'crack? Crack! What?' homura thought desperately as this had NEVER happened.

Not in a single timeline had anything done damage to the shield, not one attack had done it.

A second? Passed before purple energy started to expand and retract over and over again, with the shield at the epicenter. The buildings in front started to shred and tear before disappearing, but it all stopped when a bubble of white expanded for 2 meters before collapsing, leaving behind empty space, and a spherical hole in the ground.

no madoka and homura in sight.

. . .

"tsk, how annoying. . . at least the anomaly is gone," the supposedly emotionless creature said in annoyance before turning around and hopping off. (probably to find a new area to do its magical girl-stalking stuff.)

. . .

Mami, Sayaka, and Kyoko stared at the massive amount of destruction in front of them, now completely confused and staring dumbstruck at the rocks, buildings, and massive amount of debris floating mid-air, like suspended in time.

Their eyes darted around, trying to figure out where homura was, but they couldn't find her. Kyoko stared at this bazaar scene in front of her for a second before shouting "WHAT THE FUCK HAPPEND!?"

-----

A/N first chapter Yippe, also trying something new so YIPPE, now. I'm not the best at writing and writing more serious stuff ain't really up my alley, but, I feel like I need to up the quality since it's pmmm, but there might be some non-cannon stuff because I like doing stuff for shits, and giggles.

Also, if Homura Akemi was a cat wouldn't her name be . . . Homura Nyakemi (sorry sorry)

NYAkemi hahaaha
