Clang! Clang! Clang!
"You desired a dual aspect, correct, sir?" Sir? Ah, yes. I think this is the first time a customer requested a double-edged sword; with a confused look on his face, he said this.
"I think you are too young, boy, for this type of work. Did you really like this work, or are you in a situation to do this work?" Arin smiled. "No, I really love to be a craftsman. My father used to be a famous one. Guess I inherited my dad's genes."
The knight laughed and said, "I have never seen a boy like you. State your name, boy."
"My name is Arin, ARIN QUINN."
"here is your sword sir"
The knight took the sword and swung it, a smile spreading across his face. "I like it; it feels light, and it is easy to swing. Thank you, Mr. Quinn."
"It's my pleasure that you have been satisfied." Arin thought Now that I saw him up close, he was tall and must be in his 40s. I made a quite heavy sword, and he called it light. He must be very strong. Arin smiled, intrigued.
"Oh, I forgot to introduce myself," the knight said. "My name is Lykon Rivers, and I am a knight in this kingdom. It was a pleasure meeting you, boy."
Saying this, he slightly bowed his head and walked away. Arin waved goodbye.
As the sun began to set, Arin sat on the ground, looking up at the sky. He let out a deep sigh; today's work had been hard.
"Guess I'll head home today." Arin locked Forge Hall and began his walk. His forge hall was located a little far from town, standing alone in a plain. He had an hour's walk to Brookside Town, where he lived, crossing the small forest of Oakwood.
As Arin walked through the forest, the darkness seemed to swallow him whole. The forest was silent, and an unknown fear crept over him. He could hear his footsteps echoing loudly in his ears.
He thought, This forest wasn't even scary before when I walked with my uncle.
A light appeared in the distance, and with relief, Arin said, "Finally, I made it to town; it felt like forever." He walked a bit faster than usual.
"Kid," a scary woman's voice called from behind, making him stop. He hesitated, thinking, I didn't even hear a single footstep behind me, and I didn't even cross a single person.
The voice called again, "Kid."
Arin slowly turned his head, and his expression changed from fear to shock.
