The girl was frustrated and turned her head to see the person that held her. She was surprised to see a tall and handsome man. He was fresh and had a good scent. Levi dropped her hand and held Olivia. "Are you hurt?" he asked with concern while Olivia cried and nodded her head negatively.
"Your girlfriend messed with the wrong person. Why will you be with a cheap girl like her? You won't believe she tried to seduce my boyfriend," the girl lied, and she thought Olivia was his girlfriend.
"Who is the manager of this supermarket?" Levi asked. People gathered there to watch the scene.
Levi's secretary walked to him and showed him respect. "The manager will be here soon," the secretary replied.
"I want him here soon," he insisted, and the manager showed up. When he saw him, he quickly showed him respect. "Master Jeff Levi," the manager said while the girl who was bullying Olivia quickly came to her senses and realized the handsome guy was the young master of Groupo Company.
"Is this how you control your business when some customers are bullying the VIP customers? Maybe you want us to stop coming here again," Levi said with a cold voice.
"Please calm down, my lord," the manager said, and he faced Olivia, who was sobbing
"Miss Jeff Olivia, I apologize on behalf of our ill-mannered customer, and it won't happen again." When the girl heard her name, she quickly asked for forgiveness and said she didn't know she was Master Levi's younger sister. The manager asked the security to send him and his boyfriend out of the market. They quickly answered and pushed them out all their goods were collected Levi left the shopping with Olivia while holding her hand.
At Mr. Jeff's house, Olivia explained everything to her other brother, and they were mad that they were not there. "Am home," Mr. Jeff walked inside while his secretary helped him with his briefcase. Olivia stood up and hugged him. "That's my little baby, and when will you stop behaving like a kid? You know in the next two weeks, you'll be celebrating your eighteenth birthday," Mr. Jeff said.
"I know, Dad," she frowned her brown eyes.
"Where is your mother?" he asked while going to the stairs.
"She is in her room," Olivia replied and walked back to her brother's.
Inside Mrs. Jeff's room, she wasn't aware when her husband entered. She was carried away by the photo of a little girl she was holding and weeping bitterly. Mr. Jeff walked to her and touched her shoulder; that was when she noticed someone was behind her.
"Honey, you are back," she said and cleaned her tears.
"Are you still on this?" he asked curiously.
"Honey, I can't forget her easily, and I always remember our lost baby whenever Olivia is celebrating her birthday. I wish she was here with us," Mrs. Jeff cried out.
"Honey, you need to forget her; our daughter is dead eighteen years ago, and Olivia is now our daughter, and I also know you love her," Mr. Jeff said, sensing her needs for comfort.
"That's exactly what bothers me more. I wish Olivia is our real daughter; anytime I saw her taking our daughter things, I wish she could be the owner. But you need to understand me, honey. It's hard to forget a lost child. It will be better if she is dead than to be lost. I wish she is found one day." Mrs. Jeff pressed her heart in worry, and Mr. Jeff hugged her, and she cried bitterly on his shoulder.
"Levi, Liam, Noah, Olivia—they are all here for you, honey," he said softly.
Two day later
The family was at the dining table, having their lunch, except Levi. Mr. Jeff ordered the maid to call him out, but the maid returned with him, and Mr. Jeff told Olivia to call him. Olivia frowned her brow; she knew Levi would yell at her.
"Dad, why can't you let Liam call him? You know he is the second child, and he won't scold him like the way he will scold me," Olivia refused to call Levi, but her father insisted, and she had no other choice than to go for him. Olivia stopped at his door and claimed herself, also practicing how she will would talk to him. Suddenly the door opened, and Olivia was frightened to see Levi coming out of the door door.
"What's wrong?" he asked because he was also startled to see her standing in front of the door. Olivia cleared her throat. "Dad said I should call you," she said and quickly dismissed before he could annoy her. Not long after, Levi also came out and sat beside Olivia.
"Hey, Levi, what's good?" Liam said with a smile, but Levi turned a deaf ear to him. Liam was used to that; he knew Levi was harsh and arrogant.
"Hey, Levi, don't tell me you are waiting for someone to call you before you will come out," Noah said, trying to get on Levi's good side, but Levi didn't answer. Olivia scoffed, and Levi stared at her with disgusting eyes. He stood up and left the dining room without touching the meal.
"What's wrong with you guys? You guys should have known your brother and stopped indignant him," Mrs. Jeff said, and they all shut up and continued eating.
"Olivia, go and call your brother downstairs," Mrs. Jeff said. Olivia pretended she was coughing to avoid going to Levi's room.
"Okay, Noah, make sure Levi comes down to eat," Mrs. Jeff said, and Noah spat the food.
"Mom, why me?" he asked, but Mrs. Jeff insisted. Noah has no other choice than to do what his mother want he stood up and walk out of the dining.
Five hours later, Mrs. Jeff's was in her room. She had a terrible headache and was determined to rest before going out. She was in bed when a call entered; she picked it up.
"Hello, Mrs. Jeff's, my name is Luke Abigail from Capital Police Station. Am here because of the case of your lost daughter in 2006," the police lady said. Mrs. Jeff's headache flowed away, and she sat down.
"Okay, okay, any news about her?" she asked.
"Yes, someone bought the same necklace you showed us years ago, and we know it might have connections," the police lady explained.
"Please, did you see the person that has the necklace?" she asked with worry.
"Yes, she is a young lady around your daughter's age, but she flew away when we wanted to lock her up. She thought we were going to harm her, but do not worry, our men are searching for her. Once she is found, we will notify you," the police officer said and ended the call. Mrs. Jeff's tried to call her back, but it was not going through. She quickly jumped on her feet and left the house without letting anyone know.
