Linda's POV
I held the menacing message on my phone while my mind raced. Time was not on my side, and my mother's life was on the line. With his phone glued to his ear, Kevin roamed the room, calling all the people who might be able to tell him where Nathan had taken her.
Kevin reassured me, "We'll find her," but his tone showed his concern.
I balled my fists up. "How? Nathan is constantly one step ahead. And now he is working with someone close to me.
Kevin's pace ceased. "Linda, we will identify the mole. But we have to take care of your mother first. Where might Nathan have brought her, do you know?"
I tried to clear my head of the panic. He owns several real estate holdings in the city. Additionally, if he is holding her, it is in a safe place.
Kevin pulled up a map on his laptop and nodded. "Let's compare his known properties with locations that are difficult to get to locations where he can hide from onlookers."
