"Working for Mr. Romano isn't easy at all. He is bossy, cold, wicked and just annoying in general" Alexis complained. She was on a call with Mia during her lunch break.
"Girl this is your forth day working there, remains a day, and I win. I just can't wait" Mia squealed.
"I know what to do with you."Mia said dreamingly.
Alexis groaned." Why did I even bet with you."" You are annoying as fuck."
'Miss Sierra report to the C.E.O's office right away.' A voice boomed from the intercom on her table.
Alexis groaned." Gosh I'm on my lunch break."
"Mia I'll call you later. Bye." Alexis said as she ended the call.
She stood up and took the file the C.E.O had requested for earlier. Which she was supposed to submit after her lunch break.
She entered the C.E.O office after knocking and getting an approval to enter.
" The file I requested for?" The C.E.O asked immediately she entered.
"This is it" Alexis said as she dropped the file on the table.
"You are more efficient than I thought" "Also the only female that has lasted this long" The C.E.O complimented
" Thanks for the compliment " Alexis said.
" Take this file it's a contract go through all the clauses and report to me when you are done. Deadline tomorrow " He said.
" Ok sir" Alexis said collecting the file.
"You may leave" The C.E.O said. Alexis nodded and she walked out.
"No no no no. Girl I'm not going to the club with you." Alexis said as she slumped on the couch in her room. It was Saturday evening.
"I won the bet fair and square so you are going to do whatever I say and want." Mia said looking through Alexis closet.
"You also know the penalty for breaking a bet. So get your ass up." Mia said. Alexis groaned.
Mia walked to the couch and pulled Alexis up then she pushed her towards the bathroom.
"Now go take a shower. "Mia said.
Alexis came out wrapped in a white towel. Her hair was also wrapped in a white towel.
"Not gonna happen." Alexis said immediately she sighted the dress Mia picked for her. "I'm not wearing that dress"
"Why? What's wrong with it? It's pretty and sexy" Mia said.
"I don't like the dress. It's too short, and it hugs my body." Alexis said sitting in front of her mirror.
"Last time I checked I was the one deciding not you. So you are going to wear the dress" Mia said putting on her heels.
"Do you have to be such a pain in the ass?" Alexis said as she glared at Mia through the mirror.
They were both all dressed up. Alexis wore a black armless dress. Extremely short and it brought out her curves. She wore a black leather heel boot. Knee length. And she complimented the dress with a coffee brown leather jacket. She packed her hair up and applied a little makeup. She looked extremely pretty. With her wavy hazel brown hair and her attractive brown eyes, and her light skin.
Mia wore a short navy blue sleeveless dress. Body hug. And a silver heel. With a sliver purse. She packed half of her hair up and left some strands in front.
They left in Mia's Car. They walked into the busy and bustling bar with everyone dancing here and there and a lot of drunk individuals.
"Let's get a drink then we dance."Mia shouted because of the loud music. Alexis nodded and Mia dragged her to the bar.
"Isn't that your new assistant?" Brandon asked drawing Alejandro's attention to the two ladies dancing below. They were sitting in a VIP area at the top they could see everything going on below.
"She is." Alejandro replied
"She's pretty" Brandon said with asmug smile.
"Hey. I know what you are thinking, don't mess with her. She is not like your whores." Alejandro replied turning his gaze towards Brandon who kept staring at Alexis.
"Wow. Alejandro Romano just complimented a girl. Surprising." Brandon said meeting Alejandro's eye contact.
"That's because she is efficient. And not like other assistants that I had."Alejandro said breaking eye contact and taking a sip out of his drink.
"You must really like her"
"Like I said she is efficient.".
Tired from dancing, Mia and Alexis went back to the bar to drink. Mia was already drunk and she kept drinking.
"Girl, aren't you going to drive?"Alexis asked.
"Not a chance. After this I'm gonna find myself a nice man so I can have the best night"Mia said grinning.
"So you aren't planning on returning home?" Alexis asked.
"That's right" Mia said drunkingly.
"Well. I'm out of here. I'm tired and I got some work to finish." Alexis said grabbing her jacket and her purse.
"You are no fun. You are all about work. " Mia hissed.
"Bye. See you later. I hope in one piece. "Alexis said and she stood up and walked out of the bar.
Alexis was walking along the street. She didn't have cash on her for taxi and her phone had run out of bar. So she couldn't call a ride.
"Hey darling. Whatcha doing out alone?" A guy asked. He just came out of the store Alexis just passed.
Alexis didn't respond but she quickened her pace.
"Hey don't run from me. I'm not gonna bite." The guy said following her closely behind.
Alexis start d running and the guy also started running. Alexis was fast but he was faster. He caught up with her and grabbed her hand from behind and pushed and pinned her to the wall.
"Why were you running I ain't gonna hurt you"The guy said almost touching Alexa's face. She was breathing heavily and she turned to the side resisting his touch. He moved his face closer to hers.
Before he could make a move someone pulled him from behind and punched him in the face.
Alexa fell on the floor on her knees trying to catch her breath.
The person helped her up. She raised her head about to say thank you.
"Mr Romano??"
Alejandro held her hand and pulled her towards his car. He opened the door of his car and pushed her in, the passenger side. And he went around the car and entered the driver side. And he started the car. It was obvious that he was mad.
"Tha..."
"What the hell were you thinking. Out this late and also trekking in that extremely short dress and you don't expect to be attacked??" Alejandro bursted.
"Their was no other way I could get home." Alexis said under her breath.
"What are you doing out this late in.the first place and in that dress. That barely covers up your thighs!!"
"I'm sorry" Alexis apologized.
'Wait why am I apologizing isn't it my life and my freedom"Alexis screamed in her head.
'But he is my boss and I owe my life to him' She reasoned.
Alejandro pulled up in front of Alexis apartment building.
"Thanks for tonight and thanks for the ride." Alexis said. She gathered her belongings and she came out of the car and walked into.her apartment building.
