Chapter 1 - The Genesis of the Cypriox religion

Hyushen's journey began as a young acolyte, destined to become a priest and ultimately, the next king of Cypriox. His parents, driven by the desire to mold him into a perfect heir, pushed him beyond the limits of a normal childhood. Yet, Hyushen possessed an extraordinary intellect, quickly mastering the complexities of the Crux religion.

Some believed his intellect was not merely human, but a divine gift, a testament to the Crux's divine power. The Ancient folklore of Cypriox spoke of divine beings inhabiting the Crux's void, perhaps one such being had blessed Hyushen with extraordinary abilities.

However, while Cyprioxian religious beliefs center on the Crux Divinity, there are ongoing debates about its true nature. Some believe that god resides in the void of the Crux, a divine light that illuminates the galaxy. Ancient texts hint at a god in the form of a cruciform light, who once appeared to purify humanity. This belief has become a cornerstone of Cyprioxian ideology.

The cruciform light, a central tenet of Cyprioxian belief, holds profound divine significance. They believe their god selects human mediators to guide humanity towards purification and salvation. To achieve this, they practice the ritualistic sacrifice of innocent humans through crucifixion, a practice they believe will cleanse humanity of its sins.

They also believe in angels, divine intermediaries who assist humans in fulfilling prophecies and upholding the sacred dogmatic system.

Cypriox society is highly structured and demanding. Strict adherence to rules and regulations is essential, with disobedience often resulting in severe consequences. People are expected to maintain high standards of behavior, including proper attire, polite speech, and abstinence from vices. This rigid social order reflects the religious beliefs and the pursuit of a pure and holy life.
