After surviving the fit, Blue was ashamed of himself. His floor was a mess. He, himself, was also a mess. Blue felt foolish.
He hated that he had lost control of himself. Hated that he wasn't strong enough to keep his own self orderly and composed. Blue wiped himself down and put a hoodie over the area on the floor he had dirtied—the literal act of covering up his mess and hoping it would go away.
Then he picked up his phone and removed it from airplane mode. Almost immediately, a call came through his phone line. Surprisingly, it was from Winter.
Blue's thumb hovered over the green accept button. But after the fourth ring, he tapped on the red decline button. About to throw his phone on the couch, Winter called again.
Blue scrunched up his face in annoyance.
"Fuck you!" Blue snapped at his phone, declining the call.
