Chapter 7 - A Heroine Saving The Prince Charming

"What are you doing here?" Nux asked Isabella and got up from the floor immediately.

"Saw Harry on my way here, I knew you would be here," Isabella replied.

"Were you looking for me?" Nux asked, surprised.

"Yes, and now that I've found you, we should talk," Isabella replied and Nux furrowed his brows.

'Have I done something wrong?' He thought internally as he watched Isabella walk up to him. Letting out a sudden grunt, he dropped to his knees. 'Damn it! Why am I so weak already?'

"What's the matter?" Isabella asked as she watched him struggle with himself. She went close and lowered herself before grabbing him by the arm. "Is there something that I can do to help?" There was a lace of worry on her face as she stared at him.

"I'm so weak right now, I just need a lap to place my head," he replied and Isabella squinted her eyes. 'I've never done something as shameless as this before but it doesn't hurt doing it once or twice in a lifetime'.

Without waiting for Isabella to give him a go-ahead order, he drew closer to her and placed his head on her thighs.

Isabella was taken by surprise but she didn't seem to hate it. She adjusted herself on the floor so that he could lie very well with his head on her thighs. She caressed his hair and feeling its soft-silky texture, a look of envy happened to flash in her eyes.

'Even his hair is softer than mine', she inwardly commented and then smiled faintly, dispelling the frown that had wanted to appear on her face. 'He's mine now so I won't have to get jealous of him'.

"Thank you, princess Isabella," Nux mumbled.

"For what?" Isabella asked him while she began to caress his hair.

"For not refusing my foolish request," Nux replied. "

Isabella's expression softened, and she smiled gently. "You're not foolish, Nux," she said. "You're just kind of different. And I like that about you."

Nux's eyes fluttered closed as he felt Isabella's fingers continue to caress his hair. It was a soothing sensation, and he felt his tension begin to ease.

"I'm glad you're here, Isabella," Nux said, his voice barely above a whisper. "I don't know what's going on, but I feel like I'm in over my head."

Isabella's expression turned serious, and she leaned in closer to Nux. "What do you mean?" she asked, her voice low and urgent.

Nux hesitated, unsure of how much to reveal. But something about Isabella's expression put him at ease, and he found himself opening up to her.

"It's just...I saw something earlier," Nux said, whispering. "Something that I don't think I was supposed to see. And now, I'm not sure what's going on or who to trust."

Isabella's eyes narrowed, and she leaned in even closer to Nux. "Tell me more," she said, her voice urgent.

Nux hesitated, unsure of how much to reveal. But Isabella's expression was encouraging, and he found himself telling her everything - about the mysterious guest, about Lord Harry's secrets, and about his own feelings of unease and uncertainty.

As he finished speaking, Isabella's expression was thoughtful. She sat in silence for a moment, her eyes fixed on Nux's face.

Finally, she spoke. "Nux, I think I know what's going on," she said, her voice low and serious. "And I think I can help you."

Nux's eyes snapped open, and he sat up, his heart racing with excitement. "What do you mean?" he asked.

Isabella's expression was serious. "I'll tell you everything," she said. "But first, we need to get out of here. This isn't a safe place to talk."

Nux's eyes widened as he realized the danger they were in. He nodded, and Isabella helped him to his feet.

Together, they made their way out of the room, Nux's heart was pounding with excitement and fear. He knew that they were taking a risk, but he also knew that they had to uncover the truth. That was the only way he to help his master.

As they walked, Nux couldn't help but feel a sense of gratitude towards Isabella. She had helped him when he needed it most, and he knew that he could trust her notwithstanding that it was still their first meeting.

But as they turned a corner, Nux's heart skipped a beat. Standing in front of them was the mysterious guest, his eyes blazing with anger.

"Princess Isabella," he said, his voice dripping with malice. "I see you're consorting with the help now."

Isabella's expression was icy. "What do you want, Malakai?" she spat.

"You know him?" Nux whispered to her and she nodded.

Malakai's eyes narrowed. "I want what's mine," he said. "And I'll stop at nothing to get it."

"You'll never get what you want, Malakai," she said. "Not while I'm still breathing."

Malakai's eyes blazed with anger, and he took a step closer to Isabella. Nux knew that he had to act fast, or risk losing everything.

Meanwhile, Isabella's eyes flashed with determination as she raised her hands. "Astra descendo!" she shouted, and a brilliant light enveloped them.

Nux felt a strange sensation, as if he was being pulled apart and put back together again. When the light faded, he found himself standing in a completely different place.

They were standing in a beautiful, moonlit garden, surrounded by towering trees and fragrant flowers. Nux's eyes widened in amazement as he looked around. This was Lord Harry's garden, his favorite place to be at.

"How did we get here?" he asked Isabella, still trying to wrap his head around what had just happened.

Isabella smiled, looking relieved. "I used a spell to transport us to a different location," she explained. "It's a type of magic called 'Astral Projection.' It allows me to travel through space and time."

Nux's eyes widened in awe. "That's incredible!" he exclaimed. "I've never seen anything like it."

Isabella smiled, looking pleased with herself. "I'm glad I could impress you," she said. "But we're not out of danger yet. Malakai will still be looking for us."

Nux nodded, feeling a sense of determination. "We'll be ready for him," he said. "We'll figure out what's going on and stop him before he can hurt anyone else."

Isabella smiled, looking at Nux with admiration. "I knew I could count on you," she said.

"No, it should be the other way round," Nux corrected her. He was saved by a pretty heroine, he couldn't ask for more.

As they stood there, looking at each other, Nux felt a sense of connection with Isabella that he had never felt before. He realized that he was starting to develop feelings for her, feelings that went beyond mere friendship.

But before he could process these feelings, Isabella spoke up, breaking the silence. "We need to get moving," she said. "We have to find a way to stop Malakai before it's too late."

Nux nodded, feeling a sense of determination. "You can start by telling me how you know him and the rest," hee said to her.

"Well, Malakai is from one of the prominent families in the capital but everything went down the drain when his father was accused of colluding with the Kingdom of Valtoria. Evidences were found against him but the man maintained his stand even till his death. Malakai was still a child at that time so he was pardoned and allowed to live while his family were exiled. I think this is the reason why he wants revenge," Isabella explained but Instead of clearing the problem for Nux, it rather made him more confused.

"But what does that have to do with Lord Harry?" He asked her. "I don't see any connection between the two issues."

"Harry is the son of one of those that accused Malakai's father," Isabella said and Nux was able to start putting the pieces of information together.

"I see," he muttered. "So Malakai wants to get even with Lord Harry."

"From my analysis, I think that's correct," Isabella said.

"But even at that, why does he claim to know Lord Harry's secrets? What secrets are they talking about?" Nux asked but Isabella shook her head.

"I don't know anything about that one, you should ask your Lord. He is hiding things from you and the more he does, the more he's placing his life on the line."

"I understand," Nux said. "I am going to persuade him to say something."

"I think he must have left already, let's return to the mansion," Isabella said and the two of them walked back to the mansion.

At the front of the mansion, Isabella stood, ready to return home.

"Here," she said taking off one of the hairpins used to hold her hair.

"What's it for?" He asked her as he collected the blue hairpin.

"Use it to find me tomorrow," she said and turned to leave.

"But I don't need it..." Nux said but the girl was already meters away from him.

"Trust me, you'll need it!" She yelled without stopping to look back.
