Lying on Bibi Dong's lap, Xuan Yan's thoughts spiraled.
The aftermath of the bloodline awakening still weighed heavily on him.
The scene of Qian Daoliu, one of the most powerful beings in the world, kneeling against his will.
He knew that the bloodline awakening had caused an unprecedented upheaval.
This wasn't supposed to happen.
In the original plot he had written, the awakening was meant to be a more subdued affair, triggered only after reaching the threshold of level 30.
Furthermore, the system embedded in his fanfiction's storyline had concealed the unleashed power to avoid detection.
But this time, 'I didn't expect my bloodline to awaken like this… with so much power.'
He took a deep breath, running a hand through his long, now golden-streaked hair 'I don't even know what happened outside the Spirit Hall. The entire continent must have felt it.'
'That power… it came from the momentum of the bloodline awakening/'
He could still feel the lingering warmth of that energy within him, but it was fading, settling into a dormant state.
It was as though his body had been temporarily amplified beyond its limits, granting him a glimpse of what lay in store for him in the future.
Yet there had been something more.
During the height of the process, a sudden, piercing headache had struck him.
Amid the pain, fragmented memories had begun to surface in his mind.
'When I transmigrated into this world and first opened my eyes, I was in the body of a four-year-old boy.'
He closed his eyes, concentrating on those newly awakened memories.
In his original fanfiction, he didn't explain the transmigration thoroughly.
He had written that the main character was simply transmigrated into a child's body without any further explanation.
For years, he had assumed that he had simply taken over this body without any of its former owner's memories.
It hadn't seemed important at the time.
In his memories, he saw himself... floating somewhere, above a lake surrounded by forest.
A beautiful silver-haired woman with striking purple eyes appeared before him, but the memory blurred before he could recall what she had said or done.
'Is it her?'
'Have I already met her before?'
At this time, he remembered the story his mother told him.. as how he got adopted into teh family.
His father and mother visited the periphery of the Star Dou Forest for sightseeing.
They had accompanied a small group of spirit masters for protection to marvel at the forest.
During that trip, they had stumbled upon a young boy and took him in.
'I only remember the events after Mom picked me up...'
'Then she must have also felt my bloodline awakening...'
But suddenly he was pulled off his thoughts as he felt a soft hand caress his cheek and he raised his gaze to look at Bibi DOng's concern filled eyes.
"Yan'er, what happened to you? Is your body alright? What was that terrifying power just now? Did your life force get drained to unleash such strength?" Her voice, usually calm and composed, was trembling with worry.
She had never witnessed anything like it before and feared that the cost of such power had been too high.
Xuan Yan smiled softly up and he placed his hand on top of hers "No problem, teacher. Everything is alright. My life force is completely intact."
"It's just that my bloodline awakened related to my dragon martial spirit. The power you saw was the momentum of the bloodline's awakening, nothing more."
The warmth from his hand seemed to spread across her entire body, and she quickly looked down to avoid his gaze. "I… see."
Xuan Yan furrowed his brows slightly, noticing her uncharacteristic shyness.
Why is she blushing? Wait… my charm stat.
'System, show my status.'

As expected, his charm value displayed an error.
Turning his head to the right, his gaze fell upon the large mirror hanging on the wall.
For a moment, he was stunned.
His child like appearance had matured in the aftermath of the awakening.
His white hair now carried golden streaks and his golden eyes shimmered with a silver hue.
Despite only being six years old, his facial structure had developed greatly and he looked like a 9 year old boy.
'Damn, I look good.'
His gaze shifted around the room. Suddenly, he noticed the familiar arrangement of furniture, the delicate scent of lavender, and the elegant decorations.
His eyes narrowed in surpise 'Wait… whose room is this?'
Turning back to her, he asked, "Teacher, is this your room?"
"Hm? Yeah..."
With a sigh, Xuan Yan asked "Ahem… Teacher, what happened outside Spirit Hall during my bloodline awakening?"
Her expression became serious again "Reports are flooding in from across the mainland. After hearing the dragon's roar, everyone... whether they were commoners or spirit masters, felt a massive pressure descend upon them. They all knelt involuntarily."
He let out a slow breath 'I should be grateful the continent wasn't destroyed outright.'
Both of his martial spirits, Ea and the Ancient Divine Dragon—were universe-destroying weapons.
Seeing his thoughtful expression, Bibi Dong spoke "The Dragon spirit masters across the continent suffered the most. They felt a far greater oppression than the others. Some even reported feeling as though their bodies would burst apart under the pressure."
Xuan Yan nodded in understanding. It made sense.
The Primordial Divine Dragon was no ordinary creature.
It was a mythical, divine beast whose very existence transcended the limitations of this universe.
By comparison, the so-called "dragons" of Douluo Dalu were little more than overgrown lizards.
Of course they would be crushed under the sheer weight of his bloodline's power.
"This must have caused a huge commotion across the mainlan...," Xuan Yan mused aloud.
Looking at her, Xuan Yan asked "Teacher.. the Holy Son status?"
With a chuckle, she spoke "Do you think they won't let you become the Holy Son after witnessing that terrifying power? They'd probably beg you to accept the position!"
Xuan Yan smiled "Yeah, you're probably right."
The two continued to talk, the conversation flowing more easily now.
Later that day, news spread like wildfire across the mainland.
"The Spirit Hall has a new Holy Son. He is unparalleled in appearance, talent, and power. At the age of six, he has already reached the rank of Spirit Elder…"
Rumors began to circulate in every city, town, and village.
"Did you feel that pressure earlier? It must have been because of the new Holy Son awakening some kind of power!"
"Could it really be him?"
"I heard the Supreme Pontiff of Spirit Hall took a new disciple recently. They say he has twin martial spirits!"
"Twin martial spirits? Is that even possible?"
"Yes! And I heard he defeated a level 25 Spirit Grandmaster without even releasing his martial spirit!"
"Spirit Hall is calling him the genius of the era! They say he's unmatched!"
"Do you think Spirit Hall will take over the continent in the future with someone like him leading them?"
"…Maybe."
