Sofia's POV
I woke up the next morning in the arms of Marco who was sound asleep. I gently removed his right hand from on top of me and went to have my bath. While I was in the showers, I had already taken off all my clothes and when Marco walked into the bathroom shirtless. I didn't notice when he entered and also when he got into the showers with me. I was embarrassed and a lil mad
"Marco! What is wrong with you?" I said feeling embarrassed and using my towel to cover up my wet naked body "Relax. I mean saw all of this last night have you forgotten" He said trailing his fingers down my arm. I just dragged him out of the bathroom and into the bedroom
"What do you want this time?" I said with my hands on my hips and he just stares me before his eyes trails down to my lips
"What do you think?" He said smirking, I couldn't help but bite my lower lip then I looked him in eyes and said "No, I have to go to work and then go home. My family would be worried about me" "don't worry about that" He said turning to the bed side night stand "What do you mean 'dont worry about that '? " "Well I already contacted your family about your whereabouts cause you are gonna be here for a while" He said with an unreadable expression and started walking towards the bedroom door. When he got to the door, he stopped and said"Get dress in the dress the maids will bring for you in a couple of minutes you are going to meet my family today" "Meet your family? Today?" I asked confused and stunned but he just shrugged and left
After a while, he came into the room to get ready and told once he is done that we will go downstairs and meet with his uncle, aunt, and Dad. I felt nervous inside for some reason and I didn't want to actually go through with this but it is the only way to survive
After we both got dressed — not simultaneously though — we both went downstairs and he was acting like a total gentleman through out the dinner. Suddenly, his uncle asked a very painful question.
"Which family does this girl belong to? She looks like she came from the trash" His Uncle said disgusted "Now uncle, you better watch how you talk to my girl and have you forgotten where you came from before you met my aunt here uhn? You need to learn respect. Now apologise to my fianceé right now" He said fiercely and with so much power and authority and my surprise, his uncle apologised to me. His father got up and told his uncle, his aunt and him himself to come into his office now.
Marco "The Beast" Valenti's POV
Dad wasn't happy with my behavior and when he called me in, he told me that I should leave Sofia and go with my original fiancee from the start but i said no and stood firmly on it. "You know the consequences for disobeying orders from the family right?" My dad said "Yeah I know exile from the family " I said about to leave when my uncle said "The rules also says you can't take any of the family assets with you" — "I forgot about that" I said to myself — "Okay, fine" I said boldly and dropped my watch, credit cards, car keys, and everything i bought with the family's money and went to meet Sofia in dining room
"So what happened in there?" Sofia asked me looking concerned "I just got exiled from the family so we need to leave now before they change their mind and kill us" I said grabbing her by her wrist and leaving "Where are we going to?" She asked"Your place of course. Lead the way" I said opening the entrance door and she steps out and I step out after her.
