CHAPTER 3: NEW POWERS

Izuku's P.O.V.
After naming our party 'FAMILY', I explained about the system and what it is from the novels and comics I read thanks to the police providing them for me, they pampered me for 2 years after all.
"Now that you four have understood the concept behind the system, you will soon receive a message stating to accept an invitation to meet the 8 primordial forces that helped the creator create the multiverse, alright" I said.
While I was saying that a system notification poped infront of all the five of us.

Kirishima asked alerted by the notice "Was it supposed to happen this quick? And can we trust this system thingy anyways?"
"Yes in all the webnovels and comics this system is made for the sole purpose of helping the player survive, though I'm not sure if the invite was supposed to be arriving this early" I replied.
"Then what should we do?" Shoto asked.
"Should we accept?" Denki questioned.
"Or decline?" Tokoyami asked.
"We accept at the same time" I answered.

We all clicked the 'Y' option at the same time.
As we did that a bright light consumed the room and we all were standing in a room which seemingly resembled the cosmos, as I've read in the books.
"Woah! This place is awesome!" Denki exclaimed in excitement.
I looked around and saw 8 entities with an opposing presence one side with a positive presence while the other with a negative presence it was as though we'd be crushed under their presence. These beings infront of us were the ones who summoned us here.
"We are the 8 FORCES which create balance and order in the multiverse, we are also the ones who assisted the creator in creation of the multiverse." They all spoke in unison.
"What do each of you represent?" Kirishima asked them.
"We represent speed, strength, time and psyche in both the positive and negative aspects." They once again answered in unison.
"We have brought you here to grant you 5 a small portion of our powers, since your universe has reached a threshold point of being able to handle our presence even though albeit, it can survive, so choose one of our abilities." As they said that we received a system notification.

I immediately selected positive speed force while what the other's choose was also notified by the system

As that happened we were once again consumed by that bright light and as that light vanished I was alone in a place I've never seen but it looked similar to Earth. With me was one of the entities from before whome I assumed to be The Speed force.
"Child you have chosen to acquire my powers, it won't be as easy as you think about mastering this ability so I have called the fastest Speedster to help you." A tall man in a red suit appeared. "Meet Barry Allen my fastest Speedster who defeated two gods, resets the timeline while meditating, out ran death, is a billion times faster than light, and is 50,000 times stronger than Earth's magnetic force."
This man would help me train I could feel butterflies in my stomach, this is so cool. I wonder how the others are doing.
"You are praising me too much." Barry said.
"Am I wrong tho?" Speed force questioned Barry.
"... No." Barry said embarrassed.
"And is this boy the newest Speedster, you called for me to train?" Barry asked Speed force.
"Yes" as 'she' vanished.
Somes years passed by and I became immeasurably strong, but I could still not be as fast as Barry, he also told me about his universe and his adventures in his and other universes. We also have a similar profession, forensic science.
One day Barry said something shocking "Your training is over kid."
"What? I'm not even as fast as you!" I rejected the thought of not seeing him after today.
"The reason being experience and connection with the speed force, the greater the connection greater the speed of a Speedster." Barry told him
"And you just have phase hard enough to make portal from one universe to another we can always meet kid." Barry said with a kind smile as he ruffled my hair.
"Really!" I said in excitement, I could meet Barry who has become a father figure for me.
"Yes, you can kid. And what name do you want as your alias?" Barry asked me.
"How about IMPULSE?"
"That's the alias of my son from the future known as the fastest teenager in the world." Barry told me

"Wait really, why didn't you said this earlier!" I exclaimed.
"No worries, it's fine by me." Barry replied in a nonchalant tone. "Well I'll leave you be I have a planet to take care of" as he said that a portal appears and Barry dashed in there and that portal closed behind him.
Sometime later speed force reappeared and kicked me out back to the real world where only a few hours had passed and all the 5 of us were back together.
"Guys how strong have you all become?" Denki asked immediately.
"Strong enough to destroy a planet." Kirishima said.
"Stop time and reset it however I desire ." Shoto said.
"Strong enough to read the minds of 8 billion individuals and control their minds." Tokoyami said.
"Million times faster than light, can travel to the past and the future" I said.
"Same as captain." Denki said.
