Noah stayed by Kelvin's side the entire time, the steady beeping of the heart monitor the only sound accompanying the quiet tension in the medical bay.

The healers had worked quickly, tending to the blood loss and whatever had caused Kelvin's strange state. They assured Noah that Kelvin would be fine—nothing serious, just some blood loss and stress, but Noah wasn't so easily reassured.

He watched the clock tick by, every minute stretching into an eternity.

Kelvin was unconscious the entire time, but Noah couldn't shake the feeling that something wasn't right. His mind kept racing back to what he had seen—the blood, the ashen face, and the unspoken dread that hung heavy in the room. It felt like something more than just an accident. Something had happened to Kelvin, and Noah was determined to find out what.
