Cradling Togepi in his arms, Ethan could feel the little Pokémon's immense joy. Ethan, too, adored this unexpected addition to his team. Leo approached and gently touched Togepi's cheek with her fingers. "What an adorable little Pokémon! Its combat power may be low initially, but once it evolves into Togekiss, it'll be a whole different story. And wild Togepi are extremely rare—you're really lucky!"

Ethan was well aware of Togepi's potential. After evolving, it would gain Flying and Fairy typing, and its Serene Grace ability would make its moves significantly more powerful. However, what truly excited Ethan was the Aura he could sense in Togepi. It felt as if this Pokémon had been destined to find him.

After a few moments of bonding, Ethan attempted to place Togepi into a Poké Ball, but the little Pokémon protested, refusing to enter no matter what. Left with no choice, Ethan held Togepi in his arms.

Since Togepi had just hatched, Ethan decided to take it to the Pokémon Center for a thorough checkup. Bidding farewell to Leo, who wanted to continue training in Mt. Moon, Ethan headed toward Cerulean City, which was closer to the location where Togepi had hatched.

Cerulean City, a vibrant coastal town bordered by the estuary to the north and Mt. Moon to the west, was bustling with activity. Upon arriving, Ethan went straight to the Pokémon Center, where Nurse Joy confirmed Togepi's excellent health. Still, Togepi stubbornly refused to enter its Poké Ball, clinging to Ethan instead. Though it was endearing, it also made traveling a bit challenging.

After registering for a room at the Pokémon Center, Ethan took the chance to rest properly for the first time in days. The next morning, feeling refreshed, he left early to visit the famed Cerulean Cave—a place every player dreamed of exploring.

In previous Pokémon games, Cerulean Cave could only be accessed after clearing the main storyline or completing specific missions. However, in this version of Pokémon World, no such conditions applied. According to other players on the world chat, the cave appeared differently to everyone who entered—some saw a forest, others an ocean, and some just an ordinary cavern.

Curious, Ethan made his way to the cave. Its entrance appeared unremarkable, much like any other cave. Using Riolu's Aura, he scanned the area but found nothing unusual. Determined to uncover its secrets, he ventured inside.

The moment Ethan and Riolu entered the cave, they sensed something observing them. Despite their best efforts, neither could pinpoint the source. Even Aura proved ineffective at locating the observer. Nonetheless, Aura did reveal the cave's layout—an intricate network of tunnels and rocky terrain, appearing completely ordinary.

Following the most optimal path identified by Aura, Ethan ventured deeper into the cave. Along the way, he encountered wild Pokémon like Zubat, Diglett, Graveler, Parasect, and Venomoth. He also found useful items such as PP Restoratives, Hyper Potions, Gold Nuggets, and Poké Balls. However, none of this matched the extraordinary descriptions from other players. To Ethan, the cave seemed mundane.

Just as Ethan was about to conclude his exploration, he remembered that, in the original games, Cerulean Cave was the domain of Mewtwo. Could it be the same here? In a recent dungeon event, Mewtwo had been under Team Rocket's control before breaking free. Although the players failed to stop Mewtwo, no one knew where it had gone. If Mewtwo were indeed in Cerulean Cave, its immense power would explain the cave's eerie atmosphere.

Eager to uncover the truth, Ethan decided to head to the deepest part of the cave. As he approached, Togepi suddenly jumped out of his arms and stumbled toward the cave's depths. Both Ethan and Riolu were caught off guard. Togepi, who had been so attached to Ethan, was now acting out of character. What was drawing it forward?

Quickly, Ethan and Riolu chased after Togepi. When they reached the deepest chamber, they were shocked to find none other than Mewtwo, visibly injured and resting. Togepi stood beside Mewtwo, looking at the Psychic Pokémon with innocent curiosity. Mewtwo, in turn, eyed Togepi warily, clearly on guard.

Ethan's heart raced with fear, worried that the injured Mewtwo might lash out at Togepi. But to his surprise, Mewtwo did nothing.

Togepi noticed the wound on Mewtwo's shoulder and, without hesitation, jumped up. A large droplet of shimmering water formed above Mewtwo and gently fell onto the injured area. The droplet seemed to be absorbed instantly, and the wound on Mewtwo's shoulder began to heal. Ethan realized that Togepi was using its Life Dew ability to heal Mewtwo.

As the healing progressed, Mewtwo's wariness faded, and Ethan's anxiety subsided. Standing silently with Riolu, Ethan watched as Togepi finished its work. Exhausted from the effort, Togepi returned to Ethan's arms and promptly fell asleep.

"Is this little one your Pokémon?" Mewtwo asked, its voice soft and surprisingly gentle. "Thank you."

Ethan was taken aback by the change in Mewtwo's demeanor. This was the same Pokémon that had exuded immense power and ruthlessness during the dungeon event. Yet now, it seemed calm and even grateful. Ethan could hardly believe the transformation.
