"Aaaaaaaaaah" The excruciating pain wakes me from my slumber.
With my forcefully opened eyes, I see rabbit-like creatures inserting their big teeths into my body.
"Aaaah,aaagh" The pain courses throughout my whole body.
With the continuous pain, my vision starts to blurr.
It seems this is how I die... Just how the fuck did I even get here?
°°°°After some hours.
"Transition complete" The ethereal voice seemed to come from nowhere and everywhere at once.
It seems the pain I was facing has finally passed.
"Looks like I escaped death." I murmured, while looking around to see if the rabbit-like creatures are still around.
After making sure that there are none around me. I check my body, wanting see the bruises my body has been imprinted with.
But surprisingly my body doesn't possess any bruises or marks. My skin has also taken a much lighter colour than it usually is.
"Maybe I was poisoned, but I feel fine," Well that's not really my biggest concern right now.
"Just where am I?"
I stood at the heart of a primitive, underground village, sheltered by ancient stone. The rough-hewn caverns surrounding me seemed to whisper tales of the old, ancient civilization. Flickering torches cast shadows on the crude, rocky walls, illuminating the simple dwellings and makeshift furnishings.
The air was thick with the smell of smoke and damp earth, and the sound of dripping water echoed through the passageways.
Why do I feel as though I had stumbled into a hidden world, hidden from the sun and the outside world for centuries.
"Grrrrrr." I instinctively look to where that sound resonated from.
Seems like I'm going to die again because I'm pretty sure thats a wolve, actually it might be a bit too big for it to be a wolve. Its like a tiger sized wolve, with the aura of a lion.
I'm supposed to be a bit afraid of it but I somehow feel confident that I can handle it.
The creature lunged at me with ferocious intent, its clumsy assault was telegraphed, allowing me to anticipate its every move. Despite its menacing appearance, its pace was surprisingly slow, giving me ample time to react and counterattack with ease.
A low, guttural growl escaped the wolf's mouth as it struggled to break free from my headlock. Its flailing limbs and twisting torso were effortlessly contained, my grip tightening hoping to squash it's futile resistance.
"waa-waa-waa." it whimpered as if it foreshadowed it's death.
Releasing it, only when I'm sure it's dead.
"ting ting ting ting ting ting ting..."
A holographic screen with the word 'status'. Appears right before my face.
I think those bell sounds where indicating some sought of leveling alert.

Hmmm it seems killing this wolve leveled me up 99 times. And I'm someway, somehow a Daedric Lord, that must explain the skin colour and that statement I heard, about my transition being complete.
Now if I'm not mistaken, in games and anime you can control this screen by using your thoughts.
Let me see, so I have 297 points I guess for now I should spread them evenly.
But my title is lord of darkness so I might get something good if I only focus on my dark mana. I should add all my points to dark mana and see what will happen. Wait? How do am even able to read that??

So its a eating skill that seems useless. Well before judging I should try it out on this wolve. Its kinda gross eating a dog but I'm hungry and beggars can't be choosers.

As I sit cross-legged next to the wolve and start biting it.
Unexpectedly this wolf tastes wonderful, its like I'm eating a medium rare steak prepared by a professional chef.
As I chew through it, I savor the taste and feel at bliss.
After swallowing, "Sage why does this wolf taste wonderful?"

"Now that's neat." I mutter to myself.

Wait a minute this is a luna, if this wolf is the luna that must mean her alpha mate and pack are close.
Just as I think that I sense a hot breath from my back and quickly dash heavenward from my spot.
Though I managed to move from my spot it seems like he managed to bite my whole arm off. I'm supposed to feel crushing pain but my Pain Resistance skill heavily reduced the pain.

I watch the wolf as it devours my hand.
"Now you're just making me mad, I'm the only one allowed to eat others.👿" I say.
It looks at its dead luna, and enters a berserk state.

"Aaaaaaaaaaagh" Even with my pain resistance skill, the pain is still so crushing. Then in a split second the pain disappears as though it was never there.

My body feels amazing, its like its in it's best form.
A bite on my shoulder pulls me out of my thoughts, the alpha wolf has been constantly attacking my body. How is it that I didn't even feel it.
I have to check my status screen after killing this wolf.
I reflexively struck the creature's head as it lunged, and to my astonishment, it sailed through the air, defeated. But my physical stats didn't justify such brute force - my punch shouldn't have packed that kind of power. What the fuck is happening?
His an alpha he shouldn't be this weak.

It seems the wolf pack had finally reached their alpha and luna.
Like the alpha, they also get consumed by anger but instantly get conquered by terror as they start trembling before me.
"hahahaha, I guess you're not as stupid aa your alpha!" I exclaimed.
"Dark Lightning." I chanted.
A colossal incantation circle materialized before me, pulsating with dark energy. Tendrils of electric blue lightning burst forth, arcing towards the snarling pack.
The wolves were instantly incinerated, their yelps silenced as the crackling bolts incinerated them in a flash of azure illumination.
Why haven't I leveled up, I'm pretty sure I killed all the wolves. Do they have smaller exp than their leader?
