*Georgie POV
After waking up, I reflected on what happened previously. I wondered if I was still the same person in this Young Sheldon universe and if I was changing everything in this world.
Honestly… I didn't know.
So far, I've been living my life as it happens in Young Sheldon. Every event mirrored the show, but the incident with George's mild heart attack because of me—it hit me hard.
I can only hope I'll do better from now on.
Looking out the window, I noticed the sun hadn't risen yet. "Huh…" I stretched to prepare for a morning run. Even though I was fit, I didn't want to lose the habit.
After putting on my running shoes, I jogged around the neighborhood. A few hours later, I returned home and saw Missy, still groggy.
Thud!
Missy's head hit the dining table, but it didn't seem to faze her. She stayed there with her eyes closed.
"Where were you?" Mary asked, glancing briefly at Missy before turning her attention to me.
"I just finished exercising. Am I not allowed to work out because I'm grounded?" I smirked at Mary. Of course, I wasn't mad at her—she's my mom. How could I be angry with her?
"Oh… of course you can exercise." Mary replied, a bit awkward, then turned back to Missy. "Missy, go and take a shower!" she ordered, trying to wake her up. Missy didn't budge.
"Huh…" I walked over to Missy and picked her up. "Let's go…"
"Uhm." Missy muttered softly but kept her eyes tightly shut.
Unlike Sheldon, who was still fast asleep, he stuck to his schedule and was disciplined about it.

*3rd POV
Mary watched Georgie carry Missy toward the bathroom. She sighed deeply.
"…What's going on?" George hesitated to ask after noticing Mary's sigh, but her gaze made him speak up.
"It's Georgie… Am I being too harsh by grounding him?" Mary looked a bit saddened, feeling slightly hurt by Georgie's earlier comments.
"Pfft, what? He's a wild child like me…" George replied, but Mary's skeptical glare made him second-guess himself.
"Don't mind him. He knows you love him. Heck, maybe you had reason to worry before, but ever since Georgie changed… I don't know. He seems more mature to me." George added, grabbing a beer from the fridge.
Mary looked at him for a moment, then walked toward him. "…What?" George asked cautiously, meeting her gaze.
"you're right… and you need to cut back on beer. So, no more morning beer for you." Mary said, taking the beer from his hand.
"Oh, come on!"
George looked exasperated but didn't fight back. He knew she was right. He needed to stop… Well, 'cut back' was probably more accurate for this situation.
"Mom…" Sheldon's voice interrupted them.
"Good morning, Shelly." Mary greeted him warmly, smiling as he rubbed his eyes.
"Why are Georgie and Missy in the bathroom? I need to use it." Sheldon asked.
"What? Don't you use the bathroom at 7:30?" Mary looked at Sheldon, who avoided her gaze.
"…It's number two."

*At Bathroom
"Brother… You were so cool… when you were singing…" Missy mumbled as Georgie carried her into the bathroom.
"Oh yeah? How about you wash your shower first, and then we'll talk about it…" Georgie said, setting her down.
Missy nodded and opened her eyes, quickly splashing water on her face. She looked at Georgie. "Done."
Georgie shook his head. "Alright, we'll talk about how cool I am after you have real 'shower', okay?"
"Ugh… Why do we have to shower in the morning?!" Missy grumbled, but Georgie ignored her.
"Okay, I'll leave you here. Make sure you clean yourself properly, alright?"
"Get out!!" Missy yelled, shooing him out. Georgie chuckled and left, only to find Sheldon standing in front of the bathroom door.
"What are you doing here?" Georgie asked.
"I need to use the bathroom! It's number two!" Sheldon said, looking annoyed.
Georgie gave him a sympathetic look. "Why didn't you knock or call out to the person inside? Missy's already about to shower—…"
Georgie stopped mid-sentence when he saw Missy walking out of the bathroom.
"Go, Sheldon." Missy said, stepping aside to let him in.
Georgie looked at Missy, who avoided his gaze. She was wrapped in a towel, her body and hair still dripping wet.
Realizing Georgie was still staring at her, Missy finally spoke. "What? I'm just fast at showering." she said.
"Oh yeah?" Georgie said, narrowing his eyes. "…At least you brushed your teeth, right?"
Missy didn't reply and walked past him toward her room.
Georgie sighed, noticing the water dripping off her. "At least dry yourself with a towel first!" he called out, but Missy ignored him, jogging to her room.
"What are you talking about?" George asked as he noticed Georgie staring toward Sheldon and Missy's rooms.
"Did you know Missy showers as fast as the Flash?" Georgie replied, shaking his head.
"Yup, I know." George said casually, biting into an apple—his substitute for the beer Mary confiscated.
Georgie sighed and headed to the dining table, where Mary was making breakfast for the family. "Everything okay? Sheldon needs to take a number two." Mary commented.
"Yeah, Missy traded her cleanliness for Sheldon's sake." he said, making Mary pause.
"How come?" she asked.
"Missy just took a ten-second shower." Georgie explained, adding, "I bet she'll take thirty minutes to get dressed."
Mary groaned and started calling for Missy.
"Oh no, you're finishing breakfast!" Georgie protested, but Mary ignored him.
"Make your own breakfast." she said, leaving to check on Missy and Sheldon.
"Sure, I will." Georgie muttered, heading to the kitchen. He looked in the fridge and found some eggs and bacon. "Egg and bacon it is…"
"What are you doing?" George asked as he watched Georgie pull out the ingredients.
"…Making my own breakfast?" Georgie replied, holding up the eggs and bacon.
"…Make it two. And extra bacon." George said, grinning.

*Georgie POV
I was walking to class with Sheldon. He seemed content walking beside me, knowing that having me as his "bodyguard" kept bullies at bay—especially after that previous fight.
"Hey Georgie, hey Sheldon!"
A familiar female voice called out, and we both turned toward its source.
"Hey, Veronica." I greeted with a smile.
"Hello." Sheldon said, nodding.
Veronica smiled and approached us. Wow… I hadn't realized how much my presence had impacted this series. Veronica had changed her look, cutting her curly hair into a shorter style.
"…You look beautiful." I said, a bit taken aback.
She blushed slightly. "You think so?" she asked, giggling. "Is it too short?" She touched her hair, showing it off.
"It's perfect." I assured her with a smile, making her beam as she linked her arm with mine.
"That's good… I was worried it was too short when I cut it." she admitted.
"…You changed your hair. I don't like it." Sheldon said bluntly, looking at Veronica.
Veronica opened her mouth to respond, but I beat her to it. "Why?" I asked him.
"I just don't like it." Sheldon replied, his tone firm and definitive.
I sighed, smiling at him. "I've changed too. Do you dislike me?" I asked.
Sheldon paused for a moment. "…You're nice to me. I don't hate it."
"Well, there you go." I said, shaking my head. "Change isn't scary, Sheldon. Here's a fun fact: if none of us, humanity, ever changed, we'd still be living in caves."
Veronica smiled beside me. "…You love your brother so much, don't you?" she asked with cute chuckle.
"Of course." I replied.
Sheldon piped up again, "It's not that I hate change—it terrifies me."
"I know, little brother." I said, patting his head. "But humanity survives because we adapt. We've overcome the Spanish flu, the Black Death, and even cholera pandemics. I know you fear change, but it happens because of us—even you."
"…Why is Veronica's change my fault?" Sheldon asked, completely derailing the conversation.
"Well…" I leaned close to his ear and whispered, "…She likes me. And I'm your brother, so it's kind of your fault too."
My voice wasn't exactly discreet, and Veronica overheard.
"…." Sheldon looked at her, then back at me, whispering, "…I don't understand. How is it my fault if she likes you?"
"Because we're family." I said with a grin. Then, turning to Veronica, my expression turned serious. "…You didn't hear that, right?"

*3rd POV – Future
"Yeah, brother… Why do you even want Sheldon back? We already have everything and everyone we need. Even Paige is with us!" Missy sighed as she spoke on the phone. "Alright, alright! You're lucky I love you!" she grumbled, glancing at the driver in front. "Rebecca, change of plans—go to Shelly's apartment."
"Yes, ma'am." Rebecca replied, meeting Missy's gaze in the rearview mirror.
"You hear that, brother? Yeah, yeah, I know you love me too… Alright, bye." Missy said, hanging up the call with a long sigh. "Huffttt…"
"Long day, huh, ma'am?" Rebecca tried to strike up a conversation, aware of Sheldon's… peculiarities. Technically, she wasn't thrilled about bringing him back either. But the 'big boss' insisted.
"Yeah… family, huh…" Missy murmured, ending the topic as she looked out the window at the streets of Pasadena.
