"DAMMIT YOU TWO! WOULD IT KILL YOU TO JUST RUN INSTEAD OF PUSHING EACHOTHER!" Ekko yelled as he scooped her up with his big strong arms. With her sister of course. He threw Vi first. But as he turn to throw her, the crystal exploded.
She made it out in time, nearly soaring over the balcony, her little man was strong like that.
'Sorry Jinx, it seems like I don't know my own strength' He would say with his goofy smirk he thought he looked cool and with his arms crossed.
Pow-Jinx giggled as she thought about Ekko. Not Powder. Not after everything.
Jinx thought back to the last time she saw him. His eyes full of determination as he flung her out of harms way at his own risk. Mylo was right. After everything, all she did was prove the little bastard right. She was a Jinx. She jinxed everything.
'If it weren't for Jinx, he would still be here.' Jinx thought as she look around her lair. She found it a few years after his death. An old turbine in a fissure. He would have loved this place. Especially after her rennovations.
She looked over the little shrine she had for Ekko. The place was filled with drawings, photos, trinkets and everything that reminded her of Ekko. Except for Ekko himself. The blast didn't even leave a body.
Jinx looked away, tears straining her eyes again at the thought of Ekko. After six years, you would have thought her feelings might fade. That she might forget Ekko. Maybe you would be right for normal people. But Jinx isn't normal. Jinx is broken. Broken in a way that the only thing that can keep her together was gone.
Some might call her obssesive. Some might call her crazy. And they would be right. She was obssesed with Ekko. She was crazy about Ekko. Everything she did after that day was in his name. Topside would pay. For killing keeping Vander in prison. For making Vi leave. For making her family fracture. And most of all? For taking her Little Man away from her.
"Jinx? Silco wanted to see you. It's about the new shipment in topside." A gruff but feminine voice called out.
"~Coming Sevika. Just let me get my toys." Jinx replied as she gleefully made her way to the weapon section.
"Do you thing those guys would show up again?" Jinx asked as she trotted up to Sevika making the older woman raised an eyebrow in question.
"You know, the one calling themselves the Iron Hands?" Sevika hummed in response.
"Regardless, just guard the cargo." The woman replied as she walked faster ahead leaving Jinx to pout to herself. Oh well, as long as she could cause some damage and make problems for Plitover by spreading shimmer among Topside she was happy. And if she gets to kill an Enforcer or two on the Job? Well... they better hope they die quick. Her bombs are lethal. But they're not made to be lethal enough. The crippling injuries are intentional. There is no easy way out for Pilties. Not a one.
