Chapter-06 a visitor
In su went direct to his room just after seeing a doctor.
He entered in and seated beside Joon woo.
" Tell me about VIP " In su said just after sitting.
Joon woo looked him for a week and took a long breath.
" Who are outside they really don't know what is going on here but it's a ….. I don't know even what to say " Joon woo said.
" You just tell me I will catch up " In su spoke eagerly.
" You can you better life in this prison only if you can do boxing and gambling. Those who you see are served with good food are the ones who are taken for boxing and gambling in return they are offered a good life life. And they sleep the third flow in separate rooms but we only share the dining " Joon woo said.
" So if I be a good boxer I can move out from here and fight there outside while people watching me but how comes I'm a
prisoner " In said while paying more attention to Joon woo.
" No body will know that's you are a prison. They wore masks when they fight, they call them the black eagles " Joon woo said.
" And about gambling is second floor, you may meet with different people. They make money and pay tax and sometimes are given freedom to order anything to spend their money even girls you can order them as long you have money " Joon woo added.
" Does the government knows that?" In su asked.
" Do they know that you got beaten either?" Just woo asked In su.
In su smiled for a while and swallowed a saliva knot.
" Do you want to be VIP in here?" Joon woo asked In su.
" I have to" In su replied.
" First what brought you here?" Joon woo asked.
" I was framed killing my own grandmother who was just like a parent to me. Everything happened just because of the woman " In su said while facing down.
" Soon I will stand before the court to be sentenced " In su spoke weakly.
" Sorry for that so what is your plan and you I'm worried you might be sentenced to death "
Joon woo said.
" And I'm worried too about that " In su said.
" But if you the warden accepts you , you might stay here while people from outside knowing you have died already " Joo woo said.
" So even if I will be sentenced to death I can live here, that's what you mean " In su said attentively.
" Yes " Joon woo replied.
Suddenly their door was knocked.
Man shik stood and opened , he was an officer.
" Prisoner number 2569 you got a visitor " The officer said.
In su was the prisoner number 2569 , he stood and followed the officer.
In su reached in the visiting area and he entered.It was a small room, he entered and found Gyeon seated.
He froze as if he had been shot after seeing Gyeon.
He wiped his face while a deep breath and watched her with an expressive .
He moved closer and he was seated just facing each other.
They were quiet for a while and In su just faced down.
" How have you been ?" Gyeon asked him slowly.
" I'm just catching up " In su replied with a sympathetic voice.
" I have buried your grandma and everything went well " Gyeon said while moving her hand and hold In su but In su moved his hand back.
" I have just come to say hi to you " Gyeon said.
" You have to stay home this time and I done think we can see each other " In su said with a sympathetic voice.
"My grandmother has died and uuh… l can't return what has passed so just let's forget about everything and I think uuhhh …" In su couldn't continue talking he just started removing tears.
" I have hired a lawyer for you and I hope you will be alright " Gyeon said while wiping out her tears.
" And uuhm uuh… I love you" Gyeon said while she began shading tears.
In su couldn't hold the conversation he stood with compassion and left slowly while Gyeon was just watching.
" I don't need a lawyer " In su said to Gyeon when he was leaving.
In su left and he was escorted by the officer until in his room.
Before entering he wiped his tears off and entered with a cold face and direct he went to sleep.
His roommates just looked at each other and said nothing.
Time passed by and it was lunch time, as usual three prisoner move out to lunch and are left outside moving around and around 5 pm when the sun is about to set they return to their rooms.
In su moved out quickly and his mind was just looking for Jun won.
He took a plate and started looking for him but he couldn't find him.
He just decided to move to Joon woo.
He reached him and seated beside him and started eating.
" I saw you moving around. Were you looking for that man who is just a boxer " Joon woo said.
" Yes but I couldn't find him" In su replied .
" I think he has a fight tonight that's
why " Joon woo said.
" And he is just on third floor and it's hard to reach there . Maybe you just wait
till tomorrow " Joon woo added.
" Your face looked so lonely that time you entered. Who visited you ?" Joon woo asked.
" Just that woman I told you. You know I had no chance of burying my grandmother and she did but nothing can change. She is the reason of everything and soon I have to stand before the court. I have to meet with Ju won soon as possible " In su said while stopped eating.
" I can take you to the second floor and just watch how they do gambling " Joon woo said.
" How ?" In su asked.
" I'm one of the gamblers there so anytime I can just go but I rejected to sleep
second floor " Joon woo said.
"Fine" In su replied with a face that blossoms hope.
Time passed by and it was already night and all the prisoners were ni their rooms.
It was around 8 pm.
Joon woo just came closer to In su where he laid down on his bed.
"In su " He called him.
" Yes " In su replied.
" Soon we will move " Joon woo said.
" How do you even know the time ?" In su asked.
" I have called them recently. People like me are given an extra phone " Joon woo said.
" But you never said about that !" In su was just shocked.
" You just keep watching. I got a lot to show you " Joon woo said.
Soon the door was knocked.
" Let's leave. They have come for me " Joon woo said while standing and In su followed back.
They were taken by the officer in the elevator till the second floor.
As they moved out from the floor In su was just shocked to see the prisoners gambling. It's was like a casino. In su had never been in casino before so it's was a new place to him.
" This way " Joon woo said to In su and they moved another way different to the Casino.
" But…" In su wanted to say something but he suddenly stopped and decided to follow Joon woo.
" We have to change first. We don't play gambling with these clothes " Joon woo said while moving in a corridor with different rooms and sudden Joon woo stopped on one of the rooms and took keys from his pocket and opened the door.
Everything what was happening was just like a surprise to In su.
"It's my room. Take a that fits you and we go gambling " Joon woo said to In su while he was opening a drawer .
" But I haven't seen you being served with special food and you like this " In su said while choosing a cloth that fits him.
" I got a lot of plans and you won't understand right now. Soon you will understand " Joon woo said while taking out a bundle of money from his drawer.
" How much is that?" In su asked him while wearing a black shirt.
" five million won" Joon woo replied.
" What!" In su was just shocked.
" Taking risks that much " In su said.
" No risks no gain" Joon woo replied.
They both changed and moved out from the room and started moving towards the gambling field.
They to an area where you exchange money and you are given tokens for playing cards. The Korean woman served them.
After the exchange they moved to one of the tables where they were playing card .
" watch me careful " Joon woo said to In su then he got seated and In su stood.
Joon woo placed his tokens and joined the game.
The first round Joon woo lost .
They continued playing but Joon woo just won every round.
Just like thirty minutes Joon who collected a lot of tokens and his opponent left with nothing.
His opponents couldn't even believe what happened. They just ended looking at him.
" In su help me to carry these " Joon woo said to In su.
In su moved closer and helped him to carry the tokens and went for exchange with money.
The woman received the tokens and counted them and removed a bundle of money and gave to Joon woo.
" Twenty million Won , five million for tax and remain fifteen million " The woman said while admitting the money to Joon woo .
In su was just wondering and watched everything.
" We can leave. You will learn more and I will teach you how to play " Joon woo said to In su.
