Chereads / Reincarnated as Dracula’s Son / Chapter 9 - A pleasant surprise

Chapter 9 - A pleasant surprise

Just before he entered the building, he turned back and waved at his mom's car and the black car that stood inconspicuously a few miles away from it.

His mom waved back and turned the car around. "There's a surprise for you!" she yelled as she drove off.

Damian didn't pay any attention to the students now staring at him; only one thing was on his mind.

A surprise?

He wondered what she meant by that, but when he couldn't make any sense of it, he shrugged and turned back to enter the building.

In making that movement, he almost ran into the surprise.

"Tyrion?!" he exclaimed, confused but a little pleased.

Now he had someone he kinda knew in this sea of unfamiliar faces.

"How are you?" Tyrion replied with a wide grin on his face.

"But how?" Damian asked. "Shouldn't you be in school right now?"

"I am in school," Tyrion said. "Come on, let's go," he added, pointing to the administration office.

"Didn't you school in my former town?" Damian asked, confused.

"My former town as well now," Tyrion replied with a wink. "I managed to convince my parents to let me stay with my uncle here. It wasn't like they'd miss me much anyway." He shrugged.

"So you'll be staying here now?" Damian said.

"Yeah, isn't it cool?" Tyrion asked.

"It is cool," Damian replied. "More than cool."

After they were done with the registration process, they headed back into the school building.

Damian realized, as they walked, that a lot of students were staring at him—most of them girls.

They stared shamelessly, eyeing him like a piece of candy. Some of them smiled at him, while others were bold and winked at him.

Damian, who had never gotten this much attention before, didn't know what to do. He tried to return some smiles and kept his head down for the most part.

"This happens all the time, I swear," Tyrion said, shaking his head as they walked down the hallway.

"Really?" Damian asked.

"Yes," Tyrion replied. "We're even lucky no one is approaching you and pitching themselves to you like goods at an auction. Perhaps it's because this is a new school, and they are still shy," he added.

"Perhaps," Damian muttered.

Just as Tyrion said this, a girl walked up to them, stopping right in front of them.

"Spoke too soon," Tyrion muttered as he veered away, leaving Damian to dangle in the deep end.

The girl was obviously a popular one, used to getting attention and whatever she wanted.

She looked up at him with pouted lips coated in red lipstick. Her hair was combed back and fell almost to her waist.

Her skirt was raised up by her huge butt, and her large chest pushed through her shirt, almost popping the buttons.

Damian, ever the pervert, almost drooled at the sight of her

"My eyes are up here, you know?" she said in a slightly shrill voice.

"Technically, all of you is down from my perspective," Damian replied with a shrug.

The girl's lips twisted into a small smile. "I'm Yvonne," she said, extending an arm to him.

"I'm Damian," he replied, taking the handshake. Her hand felt soft like butter, and he immediately imagined what it would feel like wrapped around his rod.

He felt it jump in response.

"Calm down," he whispered to himself.

"Ooh, hot name," she cooed, then her eyes narrowed. "Hot guy as well."

"Thanks," Damian replied, unsure of what to say. "You look hot too," he added.

"I know," she said with that same coy smile.

"You look like you play basketball," she said.

"Because of my height?" Damian chuckled.

"Yes. Am I wrong?" she replied.

Damian thought about it quickly. He hadn't played basketball before, but he imagined it was something the former Damian would have done.

Besides, his height and fit body suggested he engaged in some sport, not to mention his vampire-enhanced abilities. It would be a waste not to play basketball, so he nodded and smiled.

"No, you're not."

"Good," she said with a smile. "I'm a cheerleader, so if you need anyone to show you around, familiarize you with the gym, the staff, and the team, I'm your girl."

Somehow, judging from her tone and body language, he suspected she wanted to familiarize him with much more than that.

"I see," he said simply.

"Your phone?" she asked, holding her hand out.

Damian reached into his pocket and brought out his phone, a sleek black device he had seen on his table the day before.

Yvonne typed something into the phone and gave it back to him. "Now you have my number. I'll be expecting your text."

"Right," Damian replied, and she strutted off.

"That's one confident lady," Tyrion said, coming to join him once again.

"Tell me about it," Damian replied absentmindedly, still staring at her behind as it juggled.

Then he remembered how Tyrion had left him to deal with her alone, and he butted his shoulder into him, shoving him away.

"Ouch! What was that for?" Tyrion asked, confused.

"For leaving me alone when I needed you the most," Damian replied.

"It's just a girl. I'm sure you've seen much worse," Tyrion replied with a shrug. "Besides, why should I hold your hand now? Would I hold it when you're bending her over?"

Damian shrugged. "Why not?"

Tyrion raised his nose in mock disgust. "You pig."

Damian chuckled heartily. He was starting to see why the previous Damian kept Tyrion as his best friend.

As they entered the first class, all eyes were immediately on them.

The teacher was a skinny young man holding a human skull in his hand.

He paused to look at who had interrupted his class.

As soon as he saw the pale tone of Damian's skin, it clicked in his head.

"Damian Vlad?" he asked.
