Yumi was sprawled across the couch, twirling her phone in her hand, feeling the boredom sink in like a heavy weight. The days had started to feel repetitive—nothing exciting happening, just the usual endless cycle of life in Hell. She sighed dramatically, her eyes scanning the room. Kikidori was sitting in the chair across from her, casually flipping through a book, and Ere'ana was in the kitchen, humming softly as she prepared something to eat.
Yumi's eyes darted over to Kikidori, then to her phone, then back to him. It hit her.
"Hey, Dad," she said, a mischievous glint in her eye, "wanna switch phones? Let's see if I can find something interesting on yours."
Kikidori glanced up, not even blinking an eye. "Sure, I don't care," he said with a shrug. "I've got nothing to hide."
Yumi's mouth curled into a grin. "Alright, let's see what the old man's been up to." She tossed her phone over to him, and he caught it effortlessly.
He tapped the screen, unlocking it, and started scrolling. "Boring," he muttered, flipping through pages of work emails and some old notes. "I really don't use my phone much."
Yumi's curiosity piqued, she took his phone from his hands and started scrolling through it. It was, as he said, incredibly boring. No wild chats, no shady browsing history, nothing out of place. His phone was as clean as a whistle. Loyal as hell to Ere'ana, she thought, and honestly, she was kind of impressed.
Meanwhile, Kikidori raised an eyebrow at her screen, now holding Yumi's phone. He immediately started scrolling through her apps. Music, social media, some games… but then he froze.
"Yumi…" he said, looking up with an amused expression. "Why do you have OnlyFans?"
Yumi's heart stopped for a second. Her face went beet red as she scrambled to cover his mouth, but it was too late—he had already seen it. She quickly slammed her hand over his lips.
"Dad, don't you dare!" Yumi hissed, panic written all over her face. "Please don't say anything to Mom!"
Kikidori didn't seem fazed at all. He simply raised an eyebrow and smirked, muffled under her hand. "You really think your mom would care? You're an adult now, Yumi. It's your life."
Yumi stared at him in disbelief, still covering his mouth. "You're not going to say anything to Mom? Like… nothing?"
He shook his head, chuckling. "Nah. It's your life, kid. I'm just curious why you're paying for people's content when you could probably just get it for free."
Yumi groaned, her face in her hands. "Dad, please! It's not like that! Just… just stop looking!"
Kikidori continued scrolling, now noticing how her profile was set up. "Hmm, a private account, huh? Smart move." He gave her a wink. "Doesn't look like it's anything too wild anyway."
Yumi froze, still mortified, but at least he wasn't making a big deal out of it. "Oh my God, why is my life like this? I can't believe this happened."
"Relax," Kikidori said, finally placing the phone down on the table. "I'm not gonna judge you. But you should probably think about who you're selling stuff to. You know, keeping some things private might be a good idea." He grinned. "And maybe don't get caught by Mom with your OnlyFans account, huh? She might have some… questions."
Yumi flopped back on the couch, burying her face in the cushions. "I'm never talking to you again."
Kikidori laughed softly, shaking his head. "Oh, come on. I'm just messing with you. But seriously, it's not a big deal."
Just then, Ere'ana walked into the room, carrying a tray of snacks. She glanced between the two of them, sensing the strange tension in the air. "What's going on here?"
Yumi immediately sat up, giving her dad a glare as he smirked knowingly. "Nothing, Mom. We're just, uh, swapping phones. Dad's got an email problem or something," she lied, trying to hide her red face.
Ere'ana raised an eyebrow but didn't press. "Alright. Well, I hope you're both being responsible with those phones." She set the tray down and sat next to Yumi. "Remember, I can always check your search histories, too."
Yumi's eyes widened in horror. "Please don't!"
Ere'ana simply smiled sweetly. "Just kidding, darling. Just be careful with your… online activities, alright?"
Yumi sighed in relief, but the embarrassment hadn't worn off. "Yeah… sure, Mom."
Kikidori leaned back in his chair, smirking like the proud, chill dad he was. "Trust me, kid, we don't judge around here. Just don't get into anything that's gonna land you in trouble, okay?"
Yumi nodded, letting out a long breath. "Yeah… I guess so."
And with that, the awkward tension seemed to dissipate, the moment passing as quickly as it came. Yumi made a mental note to never let Kikidori get his hands on her phone again. Or, at least, not until she was more prepared for whatever awkwardness might follow.
