The castle halls of Hell were quiet, save for the occasional flicker of torches illuminating the dark, gothic walls. In their chamber, Kikidori and Ere'ana were caught up in an intimate moment, the soft glow of Ere'ana's angelic light mixing with the fiery aura that naturally radiated from Kikidori.
Ere'ana's cheeks flushed as she hesitated. "Are you sure about this, Kikidori? You know I've been hoping for an angel child this time."
Kikidori gave her a lazy smirk, running a hand through his hair. "Babe, demon or angel, it doesn't matter. It's still gonna be our kid, and that means it's gonna be badass either way."
Ere'ana sighed, rolling her eyes. "That's not really the reassurance I was looking for."
Kikidori leaned closer, resting his forehead against hers. "Alright, fine. I hope it's an angel too, if that's what you want. But you gotta admit, Yumi turned out pretty damn amazing."
"Yumi's... complicated," Ere'ana said with a small laugh.
"She's also a lot like me," Kikidori said with a grin. "And don't pretend you don't love that."
Before Ere'ana could reply, the door to their room swung open without warning.
"Dad, Mom, I need to—" Yumi's voice cut off abruptly as she froze in the doorway. Her expression blanked out as her brain processed the scene in front of her.
Kikidori, in his usual Kikidori fashion, didn't flinch. He didn't even blink.
Ere'ana, however, gasped and pulled the covers up to her chin, her face burning brighter than the hellfire outside. "Y-Yumi!" she stammered, her angelic composure utterly shattered.
Kikidori just leaned back against the headboard, completely unfazed. "Hey, kiddo. You need something?"
Yumi blinked, her expression shifting from shock to mild annoyance. "You two... seriously? Again?"
Ere'ana groaned and buried her face in her hands, muttering something about never living this down.
Kikidori shrugged. "What can I say? We're trying for another kid. You got a problem with that?"
Yumi paused, looking between her parents with an almost unreadable expression. Then, after a long, awkward silence, she said, "Hope it's a girl," turned on her heel, and walked out, closing the door behind her with a loud *click.*
Ere'ana let out a mortified groan, her face still hidden in her hands. "This is so embarrassing. How can you just... act like nothing happened?"
Kikidori chuckled, wrapping an arm around her shoulders. "What? It's not like it's the first time she's walked in on us. Besides, she's 20 now. She's seen worse."
"That doesn't make it any better!" Ere'ana protested, her voice muffled.
"Relax, angel," Kikidori said, leaning back with a smirk. "She's probably already forgotten about it."
Meanwhile, in the hallway, Yumi walked back to her room with a deadpan expression. She sat on her bed, grabbed her phone, and texted Elnora's old number out of habit:
**"My parents are insane. They're at it AGAIN. Send help."**
She stared at the screen for a moment before sighing and putting her phone down. "Why does this keep happening to me?" she muttered to herself.
**Back in the Chamber...**
Ere'ana finally sat up, her embarrassment simmering down to a manageable level. "Maybe we should lock the door next time," she said pointedly.
Kikidori laughed. "Lock the door? What, and miss out on moments like this? Nah, this keeps things interesting."
Ere'ana smacked his arm lightly, though she couldn't hide the small smile tugging at her lips. "You're impossible."
"And you love me for it," Kikidori said, leaning in to kiss her.
Despite herself, Ere'ana smiled into the kiss. "Fine. But seriously, lock the door next time."
Kikidori smirked. "We'll see."
