## Chapter 2: The Bully
It was another long day, and Y/N sought refuge in the library, her haven from the bustling campus life. With a stack of books in hand, she navigated the quiet aisles, hoping for an uninterrupted evening of study. The library's silence was a balm to her frayed nerves, a place where she could focus without the weight of the world pressing down on her. But her peace was short-lived.
"Well, well, look who's here," came a familiar voice, dripping with amusement.
Y/N's grip on her books tightened. She turned to find Taehyung leaning casually against a bookshelf, his trademark smirk firmly in place. He looked utterly at ease, as though the library were his personal playground.
"Not today, Taehyung," she muttered, attempting to sidestep him.
"Not today, what?" he teased, stepping into her path. "You're going to ignore me? That's not very polite, Y/N."
"I have better things to do than entertain your antics," she shot back, her tone clipped.
He feigned a hurt expression. "You wound me. All I'm trying to do is make your day a little more interesting."
Y/N rolled her eyes. "By 'interesting,' you mean 'annoying.' Now, if you'll excuse me…"
But Taehyung wasn't one to back down easily. He followed her to her usual study corner, plopping into the chair opposite hers. He rested his chin on his hand, watching her with an infuriating mix of curiosity and amusement.
"You're relentless," she muttered, opening her notebook and pretending to ignore him.
"And you're fascinating," he countered, his voice softening slightly. "Why do you think I keep coming back?"
His words caught her off guard, but she refused to let it show. Instead, she focused on her notes, willing her racing heart to calm. Taehyung's teasing was usually predictable, but every now and then, he'd say something that felt… different. Something that made her wonder if there was more to his behavior than met the eye.
As the minutes ticked by, Y/N gradually tuned him out, immersing herself in her studies. To her surprise, Taehyung didn't interrupt again. When she finally looked up, he was gone, leaving behind a folded piece of paper. She unfolded it cautiously, her brows furrowing as she read the single line scrawled in his messy handwriting:
"You're not as boring as you think you are."
Despite herself, Y/N felt a small smile tug at her lips. Taehyung was infuriating, but he was also… intriguing. And for the first time, she wondered what it might be like to truly understand the enigma that was Kim Taehyung.
