In a dim room a young man sat in a creaking chair gazing at the pocket watch he held in his right arm intensely, his face experienced a myriad of emotions at each tick of the hand. As the clock hand of the pocket watch struck twelve a sigh emerged from the man's lips
His mouth soon curled up into a resigning smile as he said in a warm tone
"Welcome Mr. Fool!"
His mind soon recalled a small saying his teacher used to utter: "The wheels of history are turning and no one can stop it. We just have to keep moving forward or else we will be crushed by its passing!"
He then abruptly stood up from the chair and wore a large black coat. He soon sported the pocket watch he previously leered at and prepared to depart.
'The tides of the world are churning and I must soon make preparations, so as to not capsize. The world will soon delve into a new era of suffering!' he thought to himself in a quivering tone.

Nero Caligula was an avid fan of a popular webnovel called Lord of The Mysteries, he had created multiple fan-fictions of the popular series and had created the fan pathway called the Enigma Pathway.
A pathway that he thought was his finest creation, unexpectedly at that moment he was whisked away to the world of his favorite series.
He had awakened in the body of Nero Maximus who had just perished from consuming the Assassin potion. But, there was an acute problem — his knowledge about the future.
This awareness made him a target for the other Outer Deities who started corrupting him instantaneously, so that they may descend upon him. A terrifying outcome
But, abruptly his Sefirot called out to him — the very Sefirot he designed for the Enigma Pathway called Ciphered Realm. It enveloped him in a warm light and cured him of all corruption.
This one act forced him to embark on the Enigma Pathway. The Enigma Pathway was something different — a paradox so to say. It contained the sequence of the 22 other Pathways of The Divine for its own sequence.
The funny part about it was that the Assassin potion was the Enigma Pathway's sequence 9. Nero had speculated that he might've been some revival plan for an eldritch horror; but he soon disregarded those thoughts.
He was too weak to speculate on such matters and decided it was for his future self to figure out. Nero had also designed the Enigma Pathway in such a way that it would have no side effects of drinking the potion.
For an example — if he advanced to sequence five Shephard, the Enigma Pathway made it so that his risk of losing control was not increased but made standard.
This also applied to gender transitions; if Nero did not wish to change genders he wouldn't no matter the potion he consumed.
His Sefirot — Ciphered Realm was also quite peculiar. But, he soon shook those thoughts away, for now it was time to advance. With Klein's arrival in the world he knew time was running out.
Nero soon sighed and gazed at the potion he prepared — Light Supplicant. It was the sequence eight of the Enigma Pathway and it was also a pain in the ass to gather it's materials.
Nero had transmigrated into Lord of The Mysteries almost a month ago and had been painfully rummaging for the potions materials from then. He had tried his luck at many Beyonder gatherings and found out that the materials he required was quite rare.
But after almost a month of scavenging he had finally finished his culmination. He had also been thoroughly careful not to alert the Church of The Eternal Blazing Sun about his endeavors.
Nero soon inhaled with a sense of serenity serenity as his gaze towards the potion deepened; he soon sighed and gulped the potion down. Instantly he felt a qualitative change in his body; his body felt reforged by flames and he soon perceived that his body recieved a slight boost in its physical attributes.
Just at that moment, the bracelet the original Nero wore for good luck soon broke as his spirit was seemingly pulled out from his body.
Immediately he noticed a sea of white fig surrounding him as two frightened voices rang out.
"Sir, where is this?!"
