Oliver began to feel uneasy as Violet's eerie story of the Sinclair family's tragic past descended upon them. The tarnished pocket watch in his hands felt heavier and heavier, as though it were possessed by a malicious force.
His voice was hardly audible above a whisper as he inquired, "So, what do we do now?" "How do we break this curse?"
Violet had a serious expression on her face and had deep sorrow in her eyes. "I'm not sure, Oliver," she said. "The curse has been passed down through generations of Sinclair, and each attempt to break it has only served to strengthen the hold of the spectral forces."
Oliver regarded her remarks, a frown forming on his face. "However, there has to be a method," he insisted, his hold on the pocket watch becoming more firm. "We can't just let this curse continue to haunt your family."
Violet bit her bottom lip and turned her eyes to the corroded watch. Her voice trembling, "There is one possibility," she stated. "But Oliver, it's... it's dangerous. There are great risks involved in entering the ghostly realm, so it's not an easy feat."
Oliver experienced a shiver down his spine, but he remained resolute. "I don't care," he firmly stated. "If it means putting an end to this curse, then I'm willing to take that risk."
Violet's eyes grew wide as she extended her hand and took his arm with an unexpectedly firm grip. "Oliver, you don't understand," she uttered in an urgent tone. "The spectral realm is a region where the dead's spirits walk free, filled with darkness and agony. If we're not careful, we can end up stuck there and have to rely on the restless dead for our very souls."
Oliver forcefully gulped, his heart racing in his chest. Trepidation and determination mixed together at the idea of entering such a dangerous area. His voice firm, "I have to try, Violet," he said. "For you, for your family, and for everyone in Willow Grove who might be in danger."
For a prolonged while, Violet looked into his face with a confused expression. At last, she let out a sigh and lowered her shoulders in surrender. She whispered, "Alright, Oliver," her voice almost audible above a whisper. "But we'll need help – the kind of help that only Mrs. Peabody can provide."
Oliver looked at the tarnished pocket watch again and nodded. With a firm voice, he said, "Then let's go see Mrs. Peabody." "It's time to unravel the mysteries of the spectral realm and put an end to this curse, once and for all."
Oliver couldn't help but feel nervous as they started out. The risks were more than he could have ever anticipated, and the path ahead would be dangerous. He was aware that he needed to move on at all costs, though, especially with Violet by his side and the cursed pocket watch in his possession.
He was now fully responsible for the destiny of the Sinclair family and Willow Grove as a whole.
