Mrs. Kim was the caretaker of the villa provided by Mindy. Perhaps it was because she had been so comfortable during the entire car ride to the villa, but Ellie's complicated feelings naturally settled into tranquility.
Admiring the peaceful countryside scenery passing by outside the window, Ellie steeled her resolve. Having made a difficult decision, she was determined to do her best not to regret her choice.
"We're almost there. Here it is. Isn't the air wonderful?"
"Yes... It's really refreshing. The scenery is beautiful too."
Ellie got out of the car and looked around the villa that caught her eye at once. Behind the villa, she could see a mountain lush with greenery, and directly across from it, a quaint stone-walled path stretched out.
"Oh my. You must be tired from your long journey."
Just then, a large-built man came running hurriedly towards Ellie and Mrs. Kim from afar. Mrs. Kim shyly chuckled and linked arms with the man.
