"You really have a hard time understanding, don't you?"
A dangerous glint flashed in Ethan's eyes as he looked at Simon.
"I'm telling you to get out of Ellie's life completely."
This was Ethan's final warning.
Tap, darkness had fallen, and the streetlights came on.
Simon maintained his composure and took another step closer to Ethan. A yellow shadow fell beneath his sharp nose. His recent weight loss and the dark energy around his eyes, combined with his tall stature and broad shoulders, created an overwhelming presence.
Ethan, who had been provocative until just moments ago, unconsciously took a step back. The man looked dangerous somehow. He seemed harmful enough to hurt him in an instant, yet at the same time so fragile that he might break at any moment.
Simon closed the distance as much as Ethan had retreated.
He understood that the other person loved Ellie Yeo. But it was the wrong approach.
