Crash-!
The tall figure collided with the table, and wine glasses shattered with a loud noise.
Simon's long shadow loomed over the fallen Ethan.
"Do I have any reason to look good to you?"
"No. I'm actually grateful it's come to this."
Ethan looked up at Simon, wiping blood from his mouth. There was even a faint smile on his lips.
"I think I'll have a lot more to do for you from now on. Thanks for letting go of a woman like that."
Ethan got up, dusting himself off, and picked up his jacket. Then he looked around to see if he was leaving anything behind. He didn't want to leave any trace of himself here. It was the worst gathering of his entire life.
Ethan bumped Simon's shoulder as hard as he could as he passed by.
"It was disgusting meeting you, and let's never see each other again."
It was frustrating, but it was the biggest revenge he could take right now.
He wanted to see Ellie right away.

"Wait a moment."
