"You used to eat it well before," he added quietly.
Simon's words weren't wrong. The regular food that hadn't appealed to her taste at all was now overly stimulating Ellie's palate.
It was a menu she couldn't eat before, even if she wanted to, because her body wouldn't accept it.
"Tree, are you really going to do this?" Ellie glared slightly at her stomach, feeling betrayed. The tree was now accepting her favorite menu that she had rejected throughout her pregnancy.
As Ellie was at a loss, her mouth watering, Simon misunderstood her state and started to clear away the Doenjang-jjigae and rice.
"Wait, just a moment."
"Huh?"
"Don't clear it away. You need to eat too, Vice President."
"I'm fine."
"Didn't you say you'd do as I say? How can I eat comfortably if the person who prepared all this is starving beside me? Stop talking and come sit down."
