glared at the employees standing sideways with a stern expression. All the colleagues and juniors who had been badmouthing Ellie, saying she had gotten here through personal connections, now bowed their heads deeply in front of her.
While Ellie was busy with the handover in this chaotic atmosphere, Hannah's startled voice was heard.
When she looked up, Simon was standing right in front of Ellie. His expression seemed to ask why she was here now.
"Vice President, um... Ellie Yeo stopped by briefly because there was something she could help with."
"I see."
But this didn't last long. After hearing Hannah's report, Simon nodded lightly and immediately went into his office.
Ellie stared at the tightly closed door of the vice president's office for a moment.
"Oh, I'm sorry. The vice president's meeting must have ended early."
"It's okay. Then... it seems we're mostly done, so can I leave now?"
