Restless Thoughts
All Might lay in his massive bed, staring up at the ceiling. The room was quiet, but his mind buzzed with thoughts that refused to settle.
The HPSC has been too quiet, he thought, his brows furrowed. They must be planning something big.
Sighing, he swung his legs over the side of the bed and stood. The cool floor beneath his feet grounded him as he walked to the bathroom. He splashed water on his face, staring at his reflection in the mirror.
"I need to be ready for whatever they throw at me," he muttered, gripping the edges of the sink. His determination solidified as he dried his face and left the room.
Introducing Lady Nagant to the Shimura Family
After dressing in casual attire, All Might headed to Lady Nagant's room. He knocked lightly on the door. Moments later, it opened to reveal Nagant, her expression neutral but her body language more relaxed than when she first arrived.
"Morning," All Might said with a small smile. "I thought I'd introduce you to someone important."
"Who?" she asked, stepping out into the hallway.
He began leading her toward the Shimura family's room. "My deceased master's family," he explained.
Nagant's expression faltered, and she glanced at the ground. "Oh... I didn't mean to—"
"It's okay," All Might interrupted gently, patting her on the back. "You're going to love them. Trust me."
Nagant raised an eyebrow but said nothing, following him down the corridor.
When they reached the room, All Might knocked. A moment later, the door opened to reveal Nao, who blinked in surprise at the sight of All Might with someone new.
"All Might?" she asked, her eyes darting to Nagant.
"Good morning, Nao," All Might said warmly. "I'd like you to meet Lady Nagant. She'll be staying in the room next to yours. If you ever need anything, she's someone you can count on."
Nao nodded hesitantly, stepping aside to let them in.
The Shimura Family's Warm Welcome
As All Might and Nagant entered, two small figures darted across the room.
"Uncle Might!" Tenko and Hana shouted in unison, latching onto All Might's legs with enthusiasm.
"You're back!" Tenko beamed up at him, his gloves slightly scuffed from recent quirk practice.
All Might chuckled, ruffling both their heads. "Of course I am. Did you think I'd forget about you two?"
The children then turned their attention to Nagant, their eyes widening with recognition.
"Lady Nagant!" Hana squealed, bouncing excitedly. "You're a hero too!"
"You're so cool!" Tenko added, looking up at her in awe.
Nagant hesitated, her posture stiff. She didn't know how to respond to the children's enthusiasm, and her hands remained at her sides as if afraid to move.
All Might noticed her discomfort and placed a reassuring hand on her shoulder. "It's fine," he said softly. "You'll come to love this."
Nagant gave a small nod, still unsure, but the warmth in All Might's voice eased some of her tension.
The adults of the Shimura family watched the interaction closely. Nao, Kotaro, and the grandparents exchanged glances, their expressions thoughtful.
Are Nagant and All Might... a thing? the unspoken question lingered in their minds, but no one voiced it.
After handing out candies to the kids and spending a few minutes chatting with the family, All Might and Nagant left the room.
Planning the Next Step
Walking down the hallway, All Might broke the silence. "I've gathered evidence against the HPSC, but they've been unusually quiet. I believe they're planning something big."
Nagant glanced at him, her expression serious. "If you need help with anything, I'm here."
All Might nodded, stopping briefly to look at her. "I need you to contact heroes across Japan—small-time or big-time. Contact Endeavor especially. It's time we heroes have a meeting."
Nagant's eyes widened. "A meeting? All of us?"
"Yes," All Might confirmed. "We need to address what's happening in society and prepare for whatever comes next."
Nagant hesitated for only a moment before nodding. "Understood."
They parted ways, and All Might returned to his room. He sat at his desk, the folder of evidence against the HPSC lying open before him. As he skimmed through the damning contents, his jaw tightened.
"This is going to be a long day," he muttered, closing the file and leaning back in his chair.
The Meeting of Heroes
The next morning, All Might woke to the sound of his phone ringing. Groggily, he reached for it and saw Nagant's name on the screen.
"Hello?"
"All Might," Nagant's voice came through, steady but urgent. "I've gathered as many heroes as I could. They're all in the underground meeting room at Might Tower."
"This quickly?" All Might asked, surprised.
"It wasn't hard," Nagant admitted. "Most of them came along the moment they heard your name."
"Is Endeavor there?"
"Yes," she confirmed. In the background, All Might could hear the faint murmur of voices before Nagant cut the call.
All Might dressed quickly, his heart pounding with anticipation. As the elevator descended to the underground level, he stared at his reflection in the polished metal walls.
It's finally time.
The elevator doors opened, revealing the massive meeting room. Heroes filled the space, seated around a circular table that spanned the entire hall. Some were familiar faces, others less so.
All Might's gaze immediately picked out the four figures he recognized most clearly: Endeavor, Lady Nagant, Gran Torino, and Sir Nighteye.
He stepped into the room, his presence commanding silence. All eyes turned to him, the murmurs dying down.
As he took his place at the table's head, he scanned the room, seeing heroes from every path of life—young and old, big-time and small-time. The atmosphere was thick with anticipation, the weight of what was to come pressing on everyone present.
This is going to be a long day, All Might thought, his resolve hardening as he prepared to address them.
The chapter ended, setting the stage for a pivotal discussion that could reshape hero society forever.
