The rain was heavily pouring down on this small town. Because of this rain Bakery's are closing down their store, Farmers are praying that their crops aren't flushed away and the local blacksmith is just sitting at his counter, knowing full well that nothing will drag him to his forge;'Who would want a blade in this weather?' he told himself, while the poor announcer boy is still out in the rain shouting today's news to earn his silver coin. Perhaps the only business not affected by the rain was the town's only tavern Tom's Pub, this noisy tavern was still full of laughter and cheap alcohol.

" Give me another bloody drink damnit! Tonight I drink for the King!!!!" said an old man.

" Old man can you shut up!! And you better slow down, the King's not the one who's gonna have to carry you back to your wife" said someone to the old man

" Aw, Shut up! And leave my wife out of this. Come on fellers! Drink!! The King has been freed from his curse!!!"

" Aye!!!!!!"

The crowd of drunkards were riled up by the old man's words and much to Tom, the pub owners, delight more drinks were being ordered; ' I'll have to thank that old man with some free drinks ' thought Tom as he smiled with his crooked teeth at all the money he was making while the old man roared in joy at the free drinks that were brought to his table.

" Wow, how long has the King been cursed for, three years?" said someone with a reminiscing sigh.

" Four!!! It's been four years since the King disappeared and those bastard Nobles tripled our taxes, Tsk! May they all rot in the abyss!!" said man who looked fed up.

" Aye! I'll drink to that any day, I hope head's will roll when the King starts dealing with them " agreed another man.

Everyone was chatting away their problems and nothing was beyond topic especially when alcohol was involved.

" It must have been terrible hard on the King, to suddenly turn into a goat like that " said someone who felt bad for the King.

" What in the abyss are you talking about? It was a beast he turned into not a goat" said a man who looked funnily at his fellow drunkard.

" What? But I heard it was a goat" said the other man back towards his fellow.

" No! You idiot, he was a huge beast, I saw him with my own eyes"

" No you didn't "

" I sure did "

" Alright then, what kind of beast was he?"

" What??"

" You heard me, you said he was a beast; right? Well what kind of beast was he?"

"Ehh???... Well.. he.. ehh"

" Was he a boar or a bear? Come on speak up!"

" Eh… well.. h-he was just a beast, I guess?"

" See!!! You don't know, do you? Now who's the idiot!!"

No matter the conversation everyone had the word King in their mouths, even in the alley at the back of the tavern where water were disposed off. Three women were sitting together in front of the tavern back door gossiping away.

" Oh my! I heard the wedding was the first thing the King did, right?" Said the oldest looking woman of the three.

" What? A Queen? How come I haven't heard about this" said the youngest of the three as she was walking down the wooden steps towards the alley with a bucket of murky water in need of disposal.

" You haven't? Well I guess word hasn't reached here yet." Responded the woman.

" Don't mind her, she just doesn't pay attention to the announcer boy but word has gotten here" said the last of the three women towards the oldest before she continued.

"I even remember the Queen's name… let's see, hmm… I believe it was Bell–"

*SPLASH*

" AAAAArghh!!!!"

A high pitched scream rang across the alley walls.
