Chapter 8 - Searching for doorman (end)

"Did the cat eat your tongue, two, or did my play shut him up huh "

I couldn't believe.. This time I'm confident!

I started to remember the puzzles and try to match them to the moment I live:

**"You have to look into the shadows and listen to the whispers in the wind."**

That's how I found the bar in the first place, but the way I found the man made this part explain it more.

**"You will find it where the night meets the day, and the voice disappears in the silence of the night."**

The silence was now camping on the bar after the music stopped, and the night was starting to give way to the dawn. This deep silence, after the music, perfectly matched the puzzle words.

**"Hesitate at the places where the blue lights illuminate, and you hear the saxophone melodies that tell tales of sadness and hope."**

**"Look for places that smell the old fragrance and forgotten memories, where the transients meet and exchange secrets."**

**"Under the silver moonlight, and in the alleys pulsing with the mysterious echoes of music, lies the owner of the door."**

The dim blue lights were lighting up the bar. And the saxophone melodies I heard a little earlier were filled with sadness and poetics. The smell of the old tavern, the memories that the walls were bustling with, everything in this place was giving off a sense of nostalgia and forgotten secrets. In the meantime.

Then why doesn't a notice appear"I have completed the task! "

And most importantly... Who is this two invitee who keeps repeating his name!

He takes out a sunglasses from his pocket and puts it on and then moves closer to me, that's how he hinted the details of his figure well.

"Sunglasses in the middle of the night.. Are you also a drug dealer !" Ask with caution and sarcasm together.

"Don't worry, you shouldn't just see my eyes, believe me you don't want it originally two"

Two, two... And but who the hell is this !

"Who is this two And also you know about the assignment right I don't want to get more trouble."

"Man I know about the janitor search mission I got from the screen. And here's the doorman standing in front of you"

Rest for this, I could feel something bigger than just a coincidence. He suddenly grabs my arm together.

"Really you don't know who two are Man I just thought I wouldn't see you again after the office disaster I caused"

He laughs and hits my shoulder, although he's old but she's strong beyond necessary.

"Man! I thought they said you after that incident, and but you're like the stubborn gum, even though you lost a lot but you're here!"

I was confused only by his words, I was actually removed from my job and either the rest of the conversation, so I do not agree with him anything.

He looks at me for a minute and then as if he paid attention to something important.

" Don't tell me they erased your memory!.. I had to expect this. Well just forget what I told you"

"Is that the part about " he spoke to the man in a hat hiding his eyes, listening to his words that bore clues to untold stories.". I say with confidence.

"I probably don't know" he smiles in a puzzled way.

"And now what "

"What do you mean "

" I finished the job apparently, if where is my reward, please don't give me a backpack you too"

"Did a message of completion appear on your screen or did the task disappear !"

I shake the screen but nothing new in it. It's as I left it two weeks ago... Did you overlook something

I think and think, but something comes to my mind. Even this doorman sitting there cleans the saxophone machine and doesn't utter a compliment even though he said, "Your task is to talk to the doorman.. If he talks to me"

Take out my thought and pen and write the puzzle fragmented.

"Smart move," the janitor says.

I delete every part. I feel that it was answered, after a while it remains only a part. But whatever I try I don't know how to get to solve it!

Why is this happening at this very time The solution was close, closer than I imagined, but at the same time it was hopelessly distant

I felt like I was about to touch the truth, but the closer I got, the more I faded away as a mist before my eyes.

The night was long, and the twisted roads take me into a vortex of thoughts and a sense of helplessness.

Hey!.maybe the solution is..

Whenever I think about that possibility I panic, but at the same time it makes sense.. Or rather it's the only possibility.

When the janitor finished cleaning his case and put it in a bag. I had made up my mind.

" Uncle! Think I know what the solution is lacking"

"..."

Stand at the edge of a skyscraper, the highest place I could reach in the city, the doorman sat behind me on the cold asphalt.

"Are you sure this is the solution He asks me in a neutral voice. I do not know if he is anxious or deceitful in asking him.

The wind was pounding heavily on the top of the skyscraper, carrying with it the freezing cold of the night. I stood there, on the edge, feeling my feet tremble under the brunt of the rising feeling of dread and despair. The sparkling lights of the city extend beneath me as a sea of stars, fading into the distant horizon. At that moment, the city looked like a huge living being.

I see my shadow extend over the edge, touching the void fearlessly, as if wanting to hug the unknown. Moments of my trivial life creep into my memory.

"I learn an order. I only remember blurry glimpses of my life, as if it's a picture story."

I speak to the doorman without turning to him. I don't know but I feel like postponing this moment by talking.

"But I'm sure of one thing... My life is literally worthless!"

The wind tightens slightly, sneaking into my depths, waking me up with an old desire to escape, to get away from everything. I hear the sounds of cars and passers-by from below, and I feel that I am part of this whole, but I am at the same time a thousand miles away.

"For what I believe all this nonsense and put my life on the line Maybe I'm the one who would like the story to end like this" he took a deep breath, the doorman is still silent, I don't know if he's still there originally.

"My life is as trivial as I have mentioned, I am not sure that this is good or bad at this moment"

"Life is trivial however you looked at it!" The doorman finally speaks.

"Death is the one who will always win in the end, so life is allowed to precede it"

With him right! We are all equal in this, then why do we tire ourselves with all those materialities Why do we continue something that will eventually spare

I turned to him and utter a question that I kept all my life running behind him.

"What's the point of life then "

He shut up a little, as if allowing the question to stay more with us here... Then he just lifts his shoulders up.

"Well at least you didn't tell me something mysterious."

I take a deep breath, feeling the cold air fill my lungs, flooding my body with a strange sense of freedom and hesitation. I start on the first step towards the void, my heart beating so hard, and for the first time. Only for the first time all the questions disappear.

In those short seconds between jumping and landing.shout.

"If I die, I'll sue both the doorman and the stupid screen."
