Chapter 8: A Love Beyond Status
Reg stood before Emma, his heart pounding with excitement. They were standing in the same garden where they had shared their first kiss, surrounded by the same flowers and trees that had witnessed their love grow.
"Emma," Reg said, his voice trembling with emotion. "From the moment I met you again, I knew that my life was about to change. You've brought light and love into my world, and I couldn't imagine living without you."
Emma's eyes sparkled with tears as Reg dropped to one knee and pulled out a small box.
"Emma," Reg said, his voice filled with conviction. "Will you marry me?"
The world around them melted away as Emma's face lit up with joy. She nodded, tears streaming down her face, and Reg slid the ring onto her finger.
