"Yo, princess. Did you do your job properly?" Eida asked while he teleported to Shibuya.
He had his earbuds with him, through which he was in contact with others.
"It's Thank you very much, master, for you, bowl cut." A guy answered from the other side. He was the same person who helped Ryouma's parents from the monster. He was still mid-fight.
"Huhh? You still fighting? How long does it take to kill these shitty things?"
"You fucker! You never told me that there was a Magnitude six here. It's hard to go all out in the middle of the city. There are still people around."
"Well whatever. Just do it properly. Everything has a fix time, we can't mess things up." Eida said as he looked at another large monster growling while looking at the sky.
The monster was humongous, even five times larger than a corporation tower. Along with it, were hundreds of minions, running and killing people around.
"Where are they?" Eida asked.
"I sent them back to the west side, towards the safety zone." He said, as he was holding the jaws of the spider beast to stop it from eating him.
"Hmm? West? Wasn't the safety zone in the East side?"
"…Oh, was it?"
"Motherfucker!!!!!" Eida screamed as he grabbed his own hairs while jumping around in front of the monsters.
The red haired was sweating as he looked to the west.
"I told you, we don't have much time. We can't mess our one and only chance." Eida said.
"Yea, yea, stop screaming at me. I will go have a look at them. Though, I will have to hurry." He answered as his gaze repeatedly shifted towards the west side and the dark broken alley in the same direction.
"Why didn't I notice this pressure before? It's weird…" He thought as he cut contact with Eida and focused on defeating the monster.
Pushing the monster back, he got off his jaw and flipped backward to the rubble.
"Well, I absolutely can't waste any time on you now, so sorry." He said as the scales that were just on his hands, began appearing on his body until he got completely covered with it. He looked like a monster himself from every direction, a more humane and condensed form of those rogue beasts.
"Ascension: Faranth" He said as he disappeared from his position in an instant.
"Yo, here." The monster confused, looked back, his eyes focused on the hands of the man.
He had the orb with him. "Guahhhh!!!!" The beast screeched, as it fell down, its flesh melting down and the bones remaining.
"Ugh…That's why I didn't want to do it." The man said as he looked around. Everything in the radius of fifty to hundred meters had evaporated. The attack was absolutely silent like a breeze, but it's impact was as lethal as an eruption.
"Well, I didn't sense any lifeforce here, so it should be fine, I guess." He said as he absorbed the orb.

"Run!!" Hiro shouted as his eyes teared up from running at his maximum speed.
"Wasn't this the way to the safety zone? Where did they come from, then?!!" Yuki cried as she continued running at the same pace.
"That red rascal scammed us!! Aaahhhh!!!" Hiro said as he jumped to avoid a bite by the monster.
There was a horde of beasts following them, they looked like a pack of wolves but of course, beast form.
Yuki tripped over a rock and was about to fell down but Hiro grabbed her, "No time for this Yuki!!!" He shouted and pulled her up in his arms and continued running.
"Arghhh!! Why are you so heavy? Weren't you on a diet or something?!" Hiro exclaimed.
"Shut up!! It's not me who is heavy, it's you who is weak. Can't even hold a woman and run properly." Yuki answered, though her face was still flushed from the previous comment.
"I swear if we survive this, I'm bench-pressing you every day," Hiro grumbled, dodging a toppled lamp post and nearly tripping over himself.
"Better than you bench-pressing excuses like usual," Yuki retorted, clinging to his shoulders for balance.
Before Hiro could respond, a voice cut through the chaos.
"This way! Over here!!"
Both their heads snapped toward the sound. A woman stood in the open, waving her arms wildly. She had short, choppy hair, and her eyes burned bright.
"Are you crazy?!" Hiro shouted back.
"Less talking, more running, unless you wanna be dinner!" the woman yelled, pointing toward a narrow alleyway.
"No time for questions! Let's go!" Yuki said, slapping Hiro on the shoulder.
With a grunt, Hiro veered toward the woman, sprinting as fast as his legs would carry him.
The beasts howled behind them, their claws scraping against the concrete as they closed the distance.
"Jump here!" the woman shouted, pointing at a pile of rubble.
Hiro didn't hesitate, leaping over the debris with Yuki still on his shoulder.
"Duck!" the woman yelled next, and both Hiro and Yuki dropped just in time to avoid a low-hanging pipe.
"This is insane!" Hiro groaned as he stumbled through the narrow alley, his breath coming in sharp gasps.
"You're telling me?!" Yuki snapped, still bouncing on his shoulder.
After what felt like an eternity, they burst out into a clearing in front of a large apartment complex. A group of people stood at the entrance ad were waving frantically at them.
"Quickly! Inside, now!" one of them shouted.
"Move it!" the woman barked and was ushering them forward as she fell in step behind them.
Hiro's legs were burning, and he could feel his body on the verge of collapse, but the sight of the people gave him that last push.
As soon as they crossed the threshold, the heavy steel door slammed shut behind them with a loud clang. Someone turned a massive lever, locking it in place.
The screeches of the beasts grew louder as they slammed against the reinforced door. The metal groaned but held firm.
Inside, everyone stood frozen, listening to the chaotic sounds outside.
"Will it hold?" Hiro asked, his voice barely a whisper.
"Of course it will," the woman said, brushing past him and Yuki. "It's foolproof. Those things can screech and claw all they want. They're not getting in."
True to her word, the noises outside gradually died down.
"That was wild." Hiro sighed as he let himself go and laid on the floor.
"Alright, you owe me some answers now. Who the hell are you two, and why were you running straight into a death trap? We are trying to get out of here and you entered here on purpose?" The short haired woman asked while looking at them.
"I knew it. That dumbass sent us the wrong way." Hiro said.
"Don't say like that. He saved our lives. Human makes mistakes."
"We were told to go this way to reach the safety zone, but from your reaction, its clear that we are completely lost now." Hiro said while looking at the short haired woman.
"Well, yes. The safety zone is in the exact opposite, the east side."
"Okay Okay Okay!! That's it." Another woman from the crowd spoke up. She looked a bit older than the short haired one but still not that much old.
"Yes, we will see what we can do from here on out since that's our motive as well." The short haired woman said, "Freshen up and know each other, I will be back in a moment."
