After seeing the skills section he didn't understand what happened, he was sure that the skill book he used was Basic Perception Eyes and not Truth Seeking Eyes. Truth seeking eyes was a higher version of the skill book he got and it is impossible to learn them without the skill book. Also the time he to comprehend was too short for a E rank skill let alone a C rank one. After calming himself Miles decided to test his skill the other day to verify if it really was a C rank one. Excitement could be seen in his face as he went to sleep.
The following day, Miles refrained from mentioning the upgrade in his skill rank, as he was wary that being a C-rank might attract the attention of certain factions—research groups or worse, those who might seek to eliminate him for his rarity. He knew that the world is not calm and anything can happen in the wild. Before going to school Miles started to search for something and couldn't find anything to use his skill on.
Just as Miles was wondering how to use his skill Ryan came to him and said jokingly "Don't worry about school AI, I know you definitely get everyone attention today." As Miles heard his friends voice he got startled and stared at Ryan with a look of amusement and thought to himself "Perfect test dummy". In that moment, he activated his skill, releasing a faint pulse of mana from his fingertip that struck Ryan, who remained oblivious to the invisible effect.. After which a window popped up in front of him.

Miles was surprised to see that the skill showed so much details, the E rank skills on humans only showed Race and Level which will also be detected by the person whom you use it. But Ryan was completely unaware of what happened. Miles was thrilled to discover that the skill was indeed a C-rank.
Outside the orphanage there were rows of vans hovering in air which were there to take the kids to school. One after another vans started to move towards the school, the school was only 30 minutes away and while riding one could see the magnificent view of the Riverstone city. Riverstone city was a costal high level city of the Alderfell country. One could see large buildings, multilayer highways, flying cars and people.
Miles was lost in thought, oblivious to his surroundings, his mind consumed by a single question: "Why had the skill rank increased?". Was it because of the unawakened Eyes talent or the luck talent or perhaps a problem in the skill book. But no matter how much he thought he couldn't come to a proper conclusion.
During the Awakened Awareness class, the teacher announced that the Awakened Nurturing Test would be held in one month's time., whispering soon started and soon someone asked "Can we enter the Elite School from this test?".
The teacher with a smile said "Yes if you work hard you can even enter The Elite School". The Elite School was the best school in the city for pre Awakened kids who want to further explore there talents and become strong.
Some one asked again "Can someone who is not awakened take the test". The teacher replied
"No. Everyone has to be awakened to take the test so please visit the Awakened Association with your parents as soon as possible."
"Will we all take the same test?"
"No. The test may differ according to your talent"
As soon as he heard this Miles started wondering what test be given one month later. Soon after classes went by one after another and Miles again found himself sitting in the van thinking about his talent. But as he could not understand anything about it for now he decided to let it be and focused on the upcoming exam. This exam decided which path he will take in future, so he made a plan to focus on increasing his level in the remaining one month.
Level is a indication of the strength of someone or in other words it is related to survivability of someone in this world. Levels can be increased in many ways like Meditation or by getting more knowledge about the wild or by getting new skills or talents, there are even treasures which help in increasing levels.
Miles decided that he would increase his Skill proficiency and Meditation to increase his level. As soon as Miles got to his room he sat down and began his meditation. He was again inside his consciousness where he could see an extra small grey fist the size of a fist floating around the large grey colored mist ball. As he reached the mist ball he started pouring his mental energy in the grey sphere and only stopped when he felt that he had no more energy left.
After coming to reality he opened his status window again to see if there is any change and he was shocked by the results.

He felt both elated and disappointed by the result. He never imagined that his method of awakening the talent will really work but also realized the difficulty of awakening without the Awakening Orb. Since his mental energy was drained he decided to use his skill on different objects around him. Once his mana also runs out he will start studying and wait for his mental energy and mana to recover.
Miles was not very hardworking but seeing the small progress every time in his status window kept him motivated. One month flew by this way with Miles making small progress day by day.
The night before the exam Miles was sitting on his bed with a big smile on his face as he was staring at his status window.
