Chapter 6 - Chapter 6: The Celestial Conclave

The battle ended in chaos. Kael was captured, bound by chains forged from celestial energy—energy that drained his very essence. As he was dragged through the ruins, his mind raced. How could he have been so blind? Elara had manipulated him from the start, using his rage and thirst for vengeance to her advantage.

The celestial agents transported him to the heart of their kingdom, a place Kael had once called home: the Celestial Conclave. It was a city that floated in the skies, surrounded by clouds and golden spires. From here, the gods ruled the realms with an iron fist. Once, Kael had been their most trusted warrior, but now, he was nothing more than a prisoner.

As he was brought before the Celestial King, Kael's fury flared. The king, a towering figure clad in golden armor, sat upon a throne made of stars. His eyes, cold and distant, glimmered with the same arrogance that had once been Kael's own.

"You've failed," the king said, his voice thunderous. "You were never meant to be more than a tool, Kael. A weapon to be wielded."

Kael's voice was a low growl as he struggled against the chains. "You betrayed me. And now, I'll make you pay."

The king's eyes flashed with amusement. "You think you can defeat me? You're nothing but a shadow of what you were."

The anger in Kael's chest burned brighter. The chains that bound him glowed with divine power, but they weren't invincible. With a surge of effort, Kael focused what little strength he had left. His body trembled, and for a brief moment, the faintest flicker of his former powers awakened. The chains cracked. The air around him shuddered.

"I was never just a tool," Kael snarled. "I was the weapon that would bring your reign to an end."

With a final roar, Kael shattered the chains, releasing a surge of energy that tore through the throne room. The gods around him staggered back, shocked by the raw power that erupted from his broken form. But it wasn't enough. He was still too weak to challenge the gods directly.

"Not yet," he whispered to himself, vowing that this would not be the end. "Not today."
