I woke up getting ready for school, I dreaded every single breath I took , why was life turning against me , first I lost my dad ,then both my boyfriend and bestfriend , now I had to go to public school. I was exhausted and I promised myself I wouldn't cry over a boy but I couldn't help it , Damon was my first love how could I not cry ..
I got ready using the skin care products mom had bought for me with her first raise to cheer me up , After 45 minutes I was ready in baggy sweatpants and a knitted sweater my mom got at Walmart and Adidas campuses I managed to buy for $35 at a thrift store and my hair in a messy bun with my backpack slung across my shoulder.
What happened to me I thought to myself.
I used to care so much about my appearance,the shade of my foundation, how my lipgloss looked from a mile away ,wether Dior or Vesarce was better on me....
But now...I didn't really care ..I guess depression was real....
Mom was standing in her office uniform Infront of the door waiting for me. I got into the car we had with her as she drove me to my new school. After 45 minutes we arrived and I was about to tell her to drive me back home when she gave me her usual mom soft look and assured me that I'd be okay.
Would I though? I thought to myself
I got down and looked at mom.
I love you. Mom practically screamed from the car and I face palm a little bit embarrassed as the kids around laughed.
I looked around and then accidentally to bump into a guy in baggy jeans and a shirt with curly hair and vans on.
"Oh I'm so sorry". He practically begged as he helped me up.
"Sure". I say as I look up
"You're that girl - from the restaurant -? Remember?". He says
"Oh don't remind me".I say practically storming away from him but he followed me.
I later got to know that his name was Asher and he practically had the same classes as me , the same lunch period and was in the same homeroom as me and so happens that he was my biology partner.
Are you stalking me? I blurt out.
Uh-No- what? He says a bit uneasy.
Okay...I say a little skeptical.
I didn't make friends and ended up eating lunch in the washroom which really didn't help and I got to meet..
KAREN AND HER MINIONS...who were about to make life more miserable than it already was....
