Kelly entered the office while holding her designs.She was greeted with his icy cold expression which she was getting used to."Sorry if I interrupted your conversation with Samantha,sir"she apologized right after getting in."What valuable information do you bring?"He asked her."I'm done with the designs so I thought you would like to have a look."She placed the designs on his desk while waiting for his commendation."Send it to Mr.Bates"He said in a voice,colder than usual.She nodded even though slightly annoyed.Hmph!He didn't even look at them.Does he think I'm a bad designer?To hell with him if that's what he thinks.Why didn't I just go straight to the head designer's office?Anyway...ahh!Many of these thoughts emerged in her mind as she made her way to Mr.Bates' office.
After handing the designs over to Mr.Bates,she moved to her office without waiting for any compliments.She had a lunch meeting with Manroe.It was almost lunch break since Samantha's briefing took most of the time.On her way to her office,she mistakenly bumped into someone who she didn't take a careful look at before saying "sorry" and hurriedly walk away.The gentleman paused in his steps as he looked at the lady who had just by passed him."Oh,T&M's got a new beautiful lady I know nothing about.Sam's got to answer to this."He said to himself while memorizing her appearance.
Kelly got to the nearest restaurant as fast as she could.Her father's case was very important to her.As she entered the restaurant,her hand never ceased to search her bag for something but the look on her face showed that it was important.Her eyes brightened up as she seemed to have found what she was looking for.Her breathing seemed relaxed after finding it.She walked towards a table at the left corner of the restaurant room.A fine gentleman was sitting at that table but when he saw her walking towards him,he stood up with a smile on his face as he pulled a chair for her to have a seat."Welcome mademoiselle"he said but there was no response from her."Thanks"she said after a long while.
"Kelly, what's wrong?Why are you acting like this?"He asked in a confused tone."Mr.Leonards,you know you're working right now.Yeah,here on my father's murder case."She said trying hard to stifle a laughter.Manroe looked at her with a shocked expression but suddenly understood."Kelly, I'm sorry I had to do that.I was in a hurry at that time.C'mon, please accept my apology."He looked at her with guilt.Actually,there was something more to it but he wasn't going to say.She couldn't know he was like that because that woman was also there right?He thought. "Hmmm,you now know your mistake right?"She asked in a maharaja tone as she signaled him to come closer.He moved closer to her as she pulled his ears with a smile that contradicted with her past angry expression.
"Ouch,it hurts"Manroe said with a painful expression."Stop joking around Roe, people are here.Let's get to work."Kelly said with a straight face, letting go off his ears and continuing,"how's the case progressing?""A mysterious something but one thing I'm sure of is that uncle's murder case is related to the mafias."He said ."You sure about that?"Kelly asked not too happy.He nodded to confirm what he had said.After fully filling her in with information on the case,they both got ready to leave.Kelly moved closer to him and hugged him tightly."Take it,it might be of help.I wish you success in the case.Please help me find the murderer Roe."She whispered and quickly moved away.She took her bag and left Manroe who looked stunned.He suddenly had a call."Yes, I'll be there soon."
