The Dawn of the World
In the beginning, there was Nothingness. An infinite expanse of emptiness where neither time nor space existed. But from this Nothingness arose a consciousness, vast and all-encompassing - the Almighty One. He was the origin of all being, the source of all energy, and the creator of all things.
In his infinite wisdom, the Almighty One created seven beings of pure light, seven gods who shared his power and wisdom. Six of these gods were of unique splendor, each embodying an aspect of creation:
Kik'or, the god of cunning and deception, shimmered in shifting colors, his essence elusive like smoke.
Gahi'ra, the goddess of wrath and strength, shone in a fiery red, her presence filled with unbridled energy.
Saa'rion, the god of pride and isolation, stood in majestic white, unapproachable and sublime.
Niu'ma, the goddess of empathy and peace, glowed in soft green, her aura imbued with tranquility and harmony.
Ori'on, the god of resilience and resourcefulness, shone in earthy brown, his form of unwavering strength.
Keh'lar, the god of knowledge and creativity, gleamed in radiant yellow, his mind filled with endless curiosity.
The seventh god, Setharion, was different. He carried the essence of all the others within him, a shimmering prism of all colors, reflecting the entirety of creation. He was granted the power of balance, the ability to harmonize the forces of the other gods.
The Almighty One regarded his creations with satisfaction. But he knew that the gods would only find their true purpose by experiencing creation itself. And so, he offered them a choice:
"You, my children, have the power to shape the world. You can rule over it, as omnipotent beings worshipped by your creations. Or you can descend into the world, shed your divine form, and walk as mortals, to experience the joys and sorrows of existence."
The six gods were taken aback by their creator's choice. They deliberated for a long time, each driven by their own desires and fears. Kik'or longed for the power to shape the world according to his will, Gahi'ra for the freedom to unleash her unbridled energy, Saa'rion for the adoration of his creations. Niu'ma, on the other hand, feared the suffering of the world, Ori'on the transience of mortal existence, and Keh'lar the limitations of the human mind.
Setharion watched his siblings in silence. He sensed the conflicts in their hearts, the tension between the desire for power and the longing for experience. And in that moment, he recognized his own destiny.
"Father," he spoke to the Almighty One in a firm voice, "I choose the path of mortals. I will descend into the world to experience its beauty and suffering, to learn and grow."
The Almighty One nodded. "So be it, my son. Your path will be difficult, but it will lead you to true wisdom."
And so it came to pass that the six gods made their decision. Five of them chose the path of dominion, and their essence flowed out into the world, shaping continents, seas, and mountains, creating plants, animals, and finally humans. Each continent bore the mark of its creator, imbued with their power and attributes.
But Setharion took on human form and descended into the world his siblings had created. He walked among mortals, sharing their joys and sorrows, teaching them wisdom and compassion. His name became legend, his legacy preserved in the hearts of mankind.
But the story of the world was far from over. The six continents, once separated by vast oceans, were brought together in a great war, the peoples caught in a maelstrom of hatred and violence. And in the midst of this chaos, a new power awakened, a dark force that threatened to consume all of creation...
