Bright felt cold though being surrounded by hell hot flames. He felt numb,so numb he could hardly move his fingers. He layed down on the collapsing floor as planks of wood on the ceiling burrned into ashes.

"M...mo..mom..."he said as his body shut down.

"Make sure his breathing!" the senior doctor said as sterss filled the room. Two nurses diligently followed the doctors oders. One of the nurse, Philly leornade,was most concerned with the patient. She had this look of distress in her eyes as she stiched up the male patient's torso which also suffered from first degree burns.

"Ms Philly, get your head out the clouds." the doctor said setting in a new bag of blood injecting the needle into the intrevinus tune connected to the patient. Philly shook her head which kind of helped in a way. Two hours passed and finaly the patient was stablised. The doctor and the two nurses were exhausted. "Nita,pull me out a roll will ya," the doctor said looking tensed. The nurse did so taking out a box of cigarette gently pulling out a single roll from it. She then went over to the doctor putting the cigarette into his mouth and taking out lighter shaking it abit before letting the flame loose.

"Fuck.....some people just ain't lucky" he said puffing out a huge cloud of smoke above him.

"Sir...is it possible to.....save his mother" Nita asked with a pittyfull expression on her face.

The doctor's face shifted to a depressing one. He saw the patient Nita was referring to earler, her state was mind boggling.

"Maybe Nita,.... maybe" he said trying to take hope but his eyes clearly lied. The doctor glance at Philly, she looked tramatised. He finished his cigarette heading over Philly and patting her on the shoulder.

"Don't worry, I'll do anything I can to help them" he said in hopes of comforting her,"let's get back to work shall we? " he said getting up streching his hand towards her.

"Sure sir..... let's help my family" she said taking his hand.
