LET GO (Katthy Moon)

A girl who loved people, she always wanted to help even if something was beyond her control. I remember her trying so hard to help a boy that was so addicted to drugs, we know you can't help a person that does not want to be helped and a person' that sees no problem within themself. She did everything in her power to help this boy but eventually he passed away on a drug overdose. Kathy was blaming herself for the death of this boy and we kept on telling her "It is not your fault you did your best" but nah, Kathy was just not up for, to her she was at fault, to her she could have done better she could have saved him. Kathy was a sweetheart everybody loved her everywhere she went it was so hard to just forget her, then she got into a relationship with this guy who was involved in criminal activities and Yah, the reason she dated him she thought she can change him "how can you change a man that refuses to change on top of that a grown a*s man with a kid" Kathy was so in love with this man she did not even see that she was losing herself in the process, love is blind and Kathy was an example of that. She kept on being manipulated by him and ended up losing even her friends, Kathy was a family person but after being with Steve (The man she was in a relationship with) she neglected everything all her responsibilities. The first week that they were dating Steve had the audacity to tell Kathy to cut off all her friends just because they were telling her that he was not a good guy, 4 weeks in the relationship Kathy quits her job, why? nobody knows and all I said was he made her do it. The happy Kathy just vanished she was just no longer happy within months in this relationship, even her family she stopped visiting them she was just stuck in this man's house and isolated herself from everything. One day Kathy asked him if she can go home and visit her family, she misses them so much and it's been a while, he said "you got me why do want to go to your home this is home you know, or you don't love me anymore. Are you living me? I am going to die Kathy please don't leave me" he would always do this drama and just cry to make her stop thinking about going home and poor Kathy would fall for it. From controlling, manipulating to physical violence, Kathy called one day crying and saying he is being violent now, what should I do? before I could tell her "Leave him and just let go of the relationship" he came in the room took the phone from Kathy and smashed it, I kept calling but there was no response, so I got worried and called the cops to their house. The cops went there, and they called me back and said "well mam we are sorry, but we did not see anything out of place in that residence and the man that leaves there told us all is good" then they hanged up the phone, all I was thinking about was why did the police only mention him what about Kathy? I know he leaves with Kathy and not alone, without thinking I went there, and I am glad that I did because I would not have known what happened in there. I reached their front door and knocked; it took him 2 minutes to open the door. I asked him where Kathy is, he said "after you both spoke on the phone; she broke up with me and left with another man" I just knew he was lying I told him I want to enter and see for myself but he did not agree so I forced my way in, and I was confronted by all his friends they were drinking and smoking he looked at me and said "do you want to join us it will be fun" I agreed not because I wanted to enjoy myself but because I wanted him to trust me and get easy access to the house too. They poured me some shots I drank 2 and asked for the rest room I quickly went to all the rooms in the house and came across blood stains inside their room without thinking twice I ran out to the police station, as I was running it felt like I was running for hours when it was only 30 minutes. When I got to the police station, I told them everything they simply said I was drunk so they won't take my word for this. I told them I only had 2 shots I am not drunk, and I know something happened to my Kathy we still have time to save her, thankfully one police officer believed me and went along with me to Steves house. When we got there his friends were long gone it was only him in the house, the police asked him where Kathy is he did not respond so they let him be and looked around the house and gave him a chance again to tell them where Kathy is but he still kept his silence, the police then found traces of blood too in their room they decided to follow the blood and it led them inside the closet that is where he hid Kathys body. They immediately arrested him, I just broke down because I knew he did something to her, also I thought I had a chance to save her, but she was already dead. He killed her, the moment he smashed that phone he hit her and strangled her taking her life without any remorse.
